Filling for rolls at home: several recipes

Rolls is a dish of Korean and Japanese cuisine, it is prepared from rice with the addition of various fillings, and then rolled into pressed algae and cut into mini-rolls. Served usually with sauce. There are "mosaic" and "color" rolls, as well as "sushi-assorted" - it all depends on the national and local traditions of cooking.

This dish also appealed to Russian citizens. You can buy rolls not only in specialized restaurants and shops, but also in regular supermarkets, for example, in Pyaterochka or Ashan. They can be cooked on their own in the kitchen, it does not have to be a qualified Japanese sushi cook. The filling for rolls at home can be varied: from crab sticks, avocado, cheese, smoked fish, fresh vegetables, etc.

The most popular are the following types of rolls:

  1. "California" - the mandatory components are avocado, cheese, crab meat. The roll of caviar of flying fish "Tobiko" is sprinkled. Often they are stuffed with tuna, salmon, shrimps and fresh cucumber.
  2. The second most popular is "Philadelphia" - "turned out" outside the rice. As the filling is used cream cheese with the addition of caviar, cucumber and green onions. Outside, the roll is wrapped in a low-salted salmon.
  3. And the third place of honor is awarded to "Unagi" - small wrapped in nori rolls. He is usually run only with smoked eel.

Crab meat and cucumber

Products: crab sticks, pickled gherkins, brynza, fish caviar, sesame and mayonnaise. Proportions count on your own discretion and priorities. All ingredients are cut and mixed. Further on the nori is laid boiled rice, on it - filling for rolls.

Meat filling for rolls at home

It is made from Armenian lavash, minced meat, eggs, onion, cheese and greens. First, the onion with minced meat is half-cooked. Eggs are beaten separately and poured into the meat filling. After a 10-minute frying, greens, salt and pepper are added.

The mass is cooled, then the grated cheese is added thereto. The lavash is laid egg-meat mixture, distributed evenly and wrapped in sausage. All wrapped in lavash rolls are laid on a baking tray and baked for 10 minutes. Here is a delicious and nutritious stuffing for rolls at home.

From avocado

For cooking you need: rice, avocado, carrots, fresh cucumber, fish caviar (bank). And curd cheese (package), lightly salted fish (salmon, salmon, about 400 g), soy sauce.

All components are cut into thin strips. Avocado sprinkle with lemon juice so it does not darken. On the nori sheet, boiled rice is laid first, then the sheet is turned over, coated with curd cheese and put the fish-vegetable mass - rolled up with rolls. "Turned" rolls are not less delicious.

Types of filling for rolls are varied, everything depends on imagination. You can combine and pack products together, add mayonnaise, ketchup, sour cream or other sauces. It is tasty from seafood: mussels, shrimps. The most simple stuffing for rolls at home can be from omelette and smoked chicken. Vegetarian sushi consist exclusively of vegetables, mushrooms and fresh herbs. For children prepare sweet rolls of fruits and cheese.
