The national security strategy and its significance for any state

Every state that exists today in the world has its own system of internal organs that ensure its internal and external security. Such power departments are created with the aim of protecting state interests in case of unlawful actions by the other party. The national security strategy takes the main position in this respect, since the state's ability to carry out its activities and develop the economy depends on this.

Any state has a certain territory, on which the population has its own language, culture, traditions, monuments of architecture and so on. All this represents a great cultural heritage that must be protected, because other countries, by virtue of certain circumstances, can claim this with the aim of appropriating values to themselves. That is why every state that cares about its citizens and sets a goal for the further development of culture and technology must have an authority that oversees such a question as the strategy of national security and defense.

If we talk about our power, then the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation is engaged in this, which controls issues of both internal and external nature regarding terrorism, espionage and intelligence. The last issue is also dealt with by the State Intelligence Agency, whose activities are strictly classified and not covered anywhere.

Two years ago, our government developed and approved a national strategic security plan for the Russian Federation until 2020, which provides for specific protection mechanisms against possible encroachments on our power, as well as a methodology for overcoming critical issues of our survival. So, for example, one of the most pressing issues for our country is the demographic crisis, since in our country the death rate far exceeds the birth rate for the last 20 years. There are many reasons for this, but the fact remains that the national security strategy must solve this complex issue.

Russia has its own characteristics, which favorably distinguish it from all other states of the world. Firstly, we occupy the first place in terms of the area of occupied territory, as our power accounts for 1/6 of the total land area on earth. Secondly, our land is rich in many minerals, among which natural gas and oil deposits are particularly prominent. In addition, the Russian Federation extracts minerals such as diamonds. You can no longer talk about the huge reserves of forests, both coniferous and hardwood, with which we are so rich. The Russian national security strategy provides for not only protecting all natural resources of the country from internal and external threats, but also multiplying existing wealth and heritage by creating new technologies in science and technology. All that is created by our scientists and engineers in the territory of our country is the property of the people, therefore all projects and know-how should be carefully saved and preserved.

Unfortunately, in the conditions of a market economy, it is difficult to save anything from illegal acquisition, since in the world of capital, everything is decided by money. It is for this reason that the canvases of great artists or famous sculptures are periodically abducted, which are then found in the collections of the richest people. The national security strategy should ensure the safe preservation of all national wealth from such unlawful acts both from ordinary criminals and from the encroachments of other states.

Summing up, it should be emphasized once again that the concern for the safety of all citizens and the country as a whole lies entirely on the shoulders of the state apparatus. The national security strategy of the Russian Federation until 2020, developed and approved in 2010, considers the key moments of the gradual overcoming of all complex issues, as well as the withdrawal of our power to the world level of development. It remains to be hoped that we will be able to solve all the problems, as well as see a decent standard of living for all our citizens.
