Arab spring: causes and consequences

The term "Arab spring" appeared relatively recently. This term is understood as the totality of radical political changes that occurred in several countries of North Africa (Maghreb) and the Middle East in the spring of 2011. However, the time frame of events is much broader. In a number of Arab countries, these actions refer to January of this year, and in Tunisia they occurred as early as December 2010.

Why did the Arab spring begin? Its causes lie not only in the internal problems of these countries. In fact, the phenomenon is connected with international events that unfolded in a region with significant oil and gas reserves. These hydrocarbons are non-renewable resources, the consumption of which is constantly growing. The battle for them in the Middle East and the Maghreb has become an important part of this modern struggle.

There are two groups of control over geopolitical space and resources: panel and point. The first allows to dominate the entire volume of the given space, the second - at its key points. In geographical terms, the control of the panel type is carried out exclusively by means of a power capture-war. But the open form of conquest today is not permissible in the framework of following the concept of human rights. Therefore, there were three ways to get around this situation.

In the case that the "Arab spring" was called, the analysis leads to the conclusion that all three methods are applied. This is (1) the use of limitrophic states in the interests of the aggressor, (2) "humanitarian intervention" under the pretext of protecting human rights, (3) a preemptive war using the technology of "color revolutions". Preemption is a forceful act of advancing, the essence of which is the use of violent measures to prevent the potential threat of terrorism.

Such a triple impact can only be called war, and not some other more neutral term. The Arab spring became a way of seizing resources with complete suppression of resistance of their owner and use of the interventionists captured in the interests.

One must understand that no social transformation in the country is possible without objective assumptions. Often they become corruption of power, poverty of the population, other manifestations of social injustice.

The Arab spring was characterized by the "heftiness" of the chain of "revolutions", which suggests that it is the external influence on the political processes in these countries that is based on the existing social discontent of people that is essential. As a result of the "Arab revolutions", moderate Islamists were in power. And this is an important argument for the constant presence of the military forces of "developed democracies" in these countries and in the region as a whole.

Thus, the Arab Spring is not a revolution, it is a coup d'état. Political scientists believe that these events are an "arrow" flying to China, India and Japan, which have oil reserves. The first country in which the events of "spring" occurred was Tunisia. Then the "arrow" flew to Egypt, Libya, Syria, the States of Transcaucasia, Central Asia, Russia.

The Arab Spring has become an important technology for the struggle of the United States and the "golden billion" countries against Japan, China, India, and also the EU as the main centers of power in the modern world.
