Cookies on beer - simple baking recipe

Sometimes I want to cook some kind of pastries, but I do not have enough time or energy. There is a very good way, using only a minimal set of products, to make quickly delicious cookies. A lot of different dough products are made on beer, and you probably know about it. You can try to master this wonderful food product as an ingredient for flour and confectionery dishes. A big advantage is that after the heat treatment the beer in the product is not felt at all, which means that such dishes can not harm children.

This cookie always turns crispy, pleasant to taste and moderately sweet. It is advisable not to add sugar to the dough, it is enough just to sprinkle the finished product with granulated sugar or powdered sugar.

Prepare butter or margarine (200 g), light beer - polstakana, flour - 2 cups, sugar.

On the cutting board you need to pour out the flour. Cold margarine or butter cut into small pieces and put in flour, then chop with a knife, combining with flour. You should get a lot, similar in appearance to small crumbs. In a deep bowl you need to mix this mass with beer.

Knead the soft dough. To make the cookies on the beer tasty, the consistency of the dough should be thick (it should not stick to the hands). Be sure to place the dough in the refrigerator for about an hour, pre-wrapping it in a food film. After the oil has slightly hardened and the dough cools and becomes firmer, you can start rolling it out so that you can cut out cookies with molds. Separate a small piece and roll a thin layer (about 5 mm). Keep the remaining dough in the cold.

In figurines or a small glass cut out the cookies and, having dipped it in granulated sugar, lay on a baking tray. Do not forget to spread the parchment paper so that your figures are not burnt. The oven should be heated to about 200 degrees, so that the cookies on the beer browned. Watch him, it can quickly burn out. The baking time is about 10 minutes.

Depending on the sprinkling, you can create many different options for this unique cookie. For decoration use sesame seeds, poppy seeds, crushed nuts, powdered sugar or a mixture of everything at once ...

If you take as a basis this recipe, but make a salty or spicy sprinkling, then such a biscuit with beer will be very well combined. You can replace the standard crackers with beer with a wonderful fragrant homemade cookie. Let's try to cook it.

Knead the dough according to the above recipe. Be sure to cool it for an hour in the refrigerator or 20 minutes in the freezer. Divide it into 4 parts and roll out in turn thin cakes. With a sharp knife, cut the cookies in the form of rhombuses or rectangles (at your discretion).

Prepare a sprinkle: a little grated cheese, ground pepper (black and red), salt, cumin and seasonings to taste. Mix everything. Experts advise to try this option: a cookie, sprinkled with a mixture of cumin, poppy and salt. This is a great combination as a snack for beer. Bake cookies in the oven on parchment paper. Sprinkle the cookies with a spicy mixture.

Puff pastry on beer is very good not only for biscuits, it can be formed in the form of bagels with almost any filling. To do this, roll a round cake, cut it into several parts of a triangular shape. At the base of the triangles, put a little stuffing (raisins, nuts with honey, thick jam, etc.) and wrap in the direction towards the pointed end.

The main rule: do not put sugar in the dough, because the layers are glued from this. In itself, the puff pastry, as a rule, is unleavened, and the filling is flavored by the filling or sprinkling.
