Food film has a unique property to stretch, without losing its strength. Due to this, it is used as a packing material. PVC food film is designed for direct packaging of products in both retail and manufacturing. It is packed with various bakery and confectionery products, meat, fish, poultry, dried fruits. Food film can also be used for hot foods, for example, for freshly baked bread, but due to increased resistance to fats - and for fatty foods. It is mainly used for packing various goods in the industrial sphere on high-speed automatic lines, in various trade networks, in the service and food industry.

The PVC film fits the product closely, without forming wrinkles. This allows you to give it a pretty attractive appearance, reduce the consumption of material, as well as ensure the safety of the package.

The high strength of the film makes it possible to apply it not only for manual packaging, but also for the machine. Another necessary and very useful property of the food film is its self-adhesion. It facilitates the packaging process by easily fixing the material without additional use of sealing devices. This feature allows you to carry out packaging manually without the use of special equipment.

PVC food film is breathable. It is able to pass gases and vapors, which ensures long-term preservation of the product and prevents the development of mold and bacteria in the package.

In addition, the PVC film protects products from airing, which allows you to preserve their original appearance. It is used in the process of packaging not only raw meat, but also any meat products. Due to its irreplaceable property of letting carbon dioxide and oxygen, meat products packed in PVC film are able to be stored for a long period. This property is also useful when storing products in freezers, since it prevents the formation of ice cakes on the film. Thanks to this, the freshness of the product, its nutritional value and excellent commercial appearance are preserved.

Using a PVC film is more profitable than conventional polyethylene. This is due to a number of its advantages:
- high strength;
- increased resistance to fats;
- moderate stiffness;
- excellent transparency and shine;
- high resistance to the influence of aggressive substances;
- resistance to temperature changes;
- high level of sanitary and hygienic properties;
- resistance to fogging;
- the ability to maintain shine and transparency for a long time;
- the possibility of heating in the microwave oven the unopened product at a temperature of up to 70 ° C.
