Cold appetizer - and for lunch (dinner), and for a buffet table!

More and more traditional gatherings with cabbage rolls, stewed cabbage and olive are replaced with buffets, the basis of which is a cold snack. Especially popular this type of feast enjoys on corporate parties, parties and family holidays with a large number of guests.

Cocktail (buffet) has long been practiced in different countries of Europe, it has come to us relatively recently and every year it becomes more and more popular. The main dish on the buffet is a cold snack: canapé, tartlets, a variety of sandwiches, cheese cuts and meat, fruits, fresh and pickled vegetables. Drinks served at this type of feast should match the prepared dishes, often a variety of light and pleasant cocktails and wines.

Consider several recipes that will turn cold appetizers for a buffet table into not just food, but a masterpiece on your table.

Rolls of ham with cheese-garlic stuffing

For cooking you need: ham, cheese, garlic, egg, mayonnaise.

Preparation: rub on a large grater cheese, add the garlic and mayonnaise passed through garlic and then mix everything. Cut thin slices of ham. In the middle of each slice we spread cheese-garlic mass. Collapse the roll and stab with a scoop (toothpick). Three boiled hard-boiled egg on a grater and dipped in it the edges of rolls. We spread a ready snack on a large plate, decorated with lettuce leaves or other greens.

Rolls with chicken or red fish

For preparation it is necessary: lavash Armenian, soft processed cheese (better creamy), greens, red fish or smoked chicken breast, mayonnaise, garlic (if rolls with chicken).

Preparation: three grated cheese on the grater or knead it with a fork, add a little mayonnaise. If the roll is with a chicken, then put a little crushed garlic to the cheese. We spread the obtained cheese mass on the pita bread, from above we sprinkle abundantly with your favorite greens. We cut the fish or chicken into thin slices and spread it over the entire area of the pita bread. Tightly wrap the pita bread. The resulting roll is wrapped in a food film and sent to the refrigerator for several hours. After that, cut the roll with a sharp knife into thin pieces and lay them on a large plate with lettuce leaves. Our cold snack is ready.

Eggs with squid and red caviar

For preparation are necessary: quail eggs, canned squid, red caviar, mayonnaise.

Preparation: boiled quail eggs cut in half and take out yolks. We knead them with a fork and add pre-crushed squid and mayonnaise. We mix everything thoroughly. Fill the resulting mixture with the egg halves. Top spread the grains of red caviar. Such a cold snack can also be decorated with half of the cherry tomatoes.

Canape with salmon

For cooking you need: salmon, white bread, cheese, olives without pits.

Preparation: from bread make toast or just a little fry the bread in a frying pan. Cut the toasts into small triangles or squares, the same in size. Cut (the same as bread in size and shape) pieces of salmon and slightly smaller make slices of cheese. Next, take the skewers and string them on products in such a sequence: olive, cheese, salmon, toast. If desired, each canape can be put on a separate leaf of the lettuce or put the plate in salad leaves and place the finished canapes on top.

The original cold snacks described above can become a supplement to a traditional lunch or dinner (including a festive meal ), as well as part of your buffet table. And do not forget that when organizing a receptacle, you should give vent to your fantasies, and then, in addition to the already tried recipes, you can come up with your own unique dishes that will surely please both you and your guests!
