Childhood of Pushkin. Brief contents of memories of him

How to become a genius? Genius is the fruit of parent education or a gift from God? What influences the non-standard thinking, the fortitude of the spirit, which makes it possible to "blow up" society with their ideas and thoughts? What are they, geniuses, in childhood?

Childhood of Pushkin

The brief content of any biographical opus of a mediocre person can quite fit into several paragraphs, this personality will not work this way. The boy was born in the family of a retired major of the Jaeger regiment. Alexander was the second child. He was born on May 26 (June 6) in 1799, which was recorded in the church book of the Epiphany Cathedral in Elokhov on June 8. In Moscow, the parents moved one year before the birth of the boy. Father received the position of commissioner at the Commissariat Depot in 1798. By this time in the family of Lev Alexandrovich and Nadezhda Osipovna already had a daughter Olga (born in 1797). In 1803 another boy was born, Lev. In addition to these three children, later five were born, but they could not survive the children's age. Adult life included only Olga, Alexander and Leo.

It is easy to describe in a nutshell the childhood of Pushkin. The brief content of the available sources, in particular, the memories of his younger brother, give us an opportunity to assess the situation. Until the age of eleven, Alexander lived with his parents, burdened with their cares. The child was entrusted to the often changing French tutors. For this reason, the boy began to speak Russian rather late, but he had a decent command of French. By the age of eight, he was already keenly interested in his father's library, which, by the way, consisted mainly of French literary publications. As Brother Leo wrote, he simply devoured books one by one. Evaluating the merits of the read, he began to write his own compositions, comedies, epigrams.

In Zakharovo

But not only in his father's house passed the childhood of Pushkin. The brief content of his grandmother's letters to the mother of Mary Alexeevna gives us the opportunity to draw conclusions about the character of the young poet. Once my grandmother wrote about the fact that the boy simply does not have half-tones or "middle", he is either passive or active too much. Negligent in learning, but "greedy" before reading. Years of Pushkin's childhood spent at his grandmother's house near Moscow gave him not only the knowledge of the Russian language, but also the opportunity to communicate in Russian (in the father's house he was deprived of it for the sake of fashion). Nurse Arina Rodionovna, uncle Nikita Kozlov and serf grandmothers were able to acquaint the boy with the "spirit" of the Russians, which formed the basis of the most beautiful creations released years later.

Lyceum

At that time, educating their children through tutors at home was considered the norm. But even privileged educational institutions gave children wonderful knowledge. In the family, a decision was made to admit the eleven-year-old Alexander to the Tsarskoe Selo Lyceum, where he will study for six years. Thanks to his father's connections and passed exams, since October 19, 1811, the young poet began his education in an educational institution focused on training government officials.

Childhood and the youth of Pushkin passed in an era of ambiguous. The war of 1812 could not pass without a trace for a young fervent imagination. Moreover, teachers of the Lyceum brought to the students the ideas of freedom and equality, patriotism. Already in the Lyceum years young Alexander joined the ranks of the literary community "Arzamas", at whose meetings he actively defends his vision of literature and society as a whole. His first work is published, and at the graduation he reads his poem "No wind".

It is patriotic poems painted the youth and childhood of Pushkin. The summary of his works of that time tells us about the passionate desire for change, about the desire to glorify our native language and culture. It was with such vivid impressions that the young author, familiar to us from childhood, came out into the world.
