Effect of the drug

"Broncholitin" has a complex effect due to the action of glaucin and ephedrine. An effective recipe for a dry-type cough often contains glaucin or another antitussive component. Glaucin is a non - narcotic antitussive. He acts selectively on the brain area, oppressing the cough center. Unlike narcotic antitussives, it does not affect the respiratory center and does not depress the respiratory function. It also has a slight anti-inflammatory effect, anesthetic and antispasmodic effect on the bronchi.

Ephedrine acts on the receptors of the sympathetic nervous system. It activates the function of pulmonary respiration, reduces edema of the bronchial mucosa, reduces the spastic effect of inflammation products on the bronchi, exerting a bronchodilator effect; Normalizes the activity of the ciliary epithelium.

In the complex "Bronholitin", analogues of the drug, relieve coughing attacks, improve the removal of sputum and facilitate breathing.
