To support modern games at that time, he could not, perhaps, the simplest projects at low settings. In any case, the model did not stand out in the market at all, and the feedback was average.

This hardware component was branded and was specifically designed for fans of the American company AMD. Its main task was the decoding of special streams of video data. Radeon HD 6250, as already mentioned earlier, was developed by AMD. This adapter can be attributed to the Radeon R series. Since the accelerator was designed for the Fusion generation chip, it operated on the Ontario architecture.

The chip clock speed inside the adapter works at 280 MHz. The frequency of the shader units is the same - 280 MHz. The chip is made on a 40-nm process technology. As mentioned above, the video card does not have its dedicated memory, so it takes up part of the RAM.

Performance

The Radeon HD 6250 did not perform well in comparison with other mobile devices. For example, the nearest competitor of this model is ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330. The clock speed is low, there is no RAM, so the accelerator reminds one more "colleague" on the shop - AMD ATI Radeon HD 4225. But, given that the last video card has a dedicated Memory, the review hero wins.

In games, the card showed itself in no way. For example, in the popular 2009 project Anno 1404 it was possible to achieve only 17 FPS. The same indicator was obtained in Sims 3 on average settings. But if you set a low graphics, then FPS rises to 63.

More active games required better performance from the video card, so the Radeon HD 6250 in them showed values even lower. For example, in the game StarCraft 2 managed to achieve 12 FPS, in Battlefield Bad Company 2, this figure dropped to 8 FPS, and in Trackmania Nations Forever - up to 5 FPS.

Addiction

It is worth noting that the above indicators are not applicable to all models of laptops, where the video card came. There were more productive versions, which got a little bit more processor. In addition, not everything depends only on the mind. Sometimes even the weakest card paired with a fairly strong processor, cooling system and RAM can show a good result.

For example, the Asus K53U model based on the AMD C-50 processor worked stably. Since the chip could accelerate to 1 GHz, and RAM memory was 2 or 3 GB of choice, the integrated graphics card could be shown. Models with a weaker processor could function normally in games, if you disable absolutely all the services and processes in the device.

More often among these lucky ones were the owners of Asus 1015B. Those who worked with the C-30 processor together said that the chip does not allow the accelerator to be fully realized, and in games it is possible to achieve only 8-10 FPS.

There were problems in the program plan. Users who installed Windows 7 could not find the driver for the Radeon HD 6250. More precisely, even if they downloaded "firewood" on the card, the laptop refused to work. This was due to the fact that the drivers were not compatible with the "seven".
