Biography

Alexey Alekseevich Lebedev was born in Suzdal in August 1912. His father was a lawyer, his mother a teacher. Due to the fact that his father had official assignments, the family moved to Siauliai, then to Kostroma, and in 1927 to Ivano-Voznesensk. Alexei Lebedev worked for a while as an assistant plumber and plumber. After that I went to the North, where I worked as a cabin boy, and then as a sailor on the Sevrybtrust ships. A few years later the poet came to Ivanovo, where he entered the industrial technical school for the construction department.

In 1933, Alexei Lebedev went into the army, where he was sent to the Baltic Fleet. He served in Kronstadt, was admitted to the school of radio operators, then he was sent to Oranienbaum to the radio unit. In 1935, he was left on an urgent basis. In the year 36 I entered the naval school in Leningrad. After Lebedev graduated from the school, he became navigator of scuba diving and was admitted to the fourteenth division of the training brigade of the training submarines of the Baltic Fleet. He served on the submarine "L-2".

Memory of the poet

He never lived to be thirty, a cold night in November 41, the sea became his grave. The submarine, on which the poet worked as a navigator, was blown up by mines. He died in the heyday of the literary forces, but even those works that he wrote during his lifetime leave him the irreplaceable leader of the poetry of the navy.
