A series of books "Heresy of Horus" - a magnificent space saga

The universe of Warhammer is a vast world created by dozens of authors from around the world. This cycle includes hundreds of literary works. The plot of the saga is the history of the exploration of the cosmos by mankind, which has lasted for 40,000 years. A parallel space was discovered, which was called Warp. In it, movements in space with superluminal speed became possible. People inhabited hundreds of worlds, in their power were entire galaxies, the hostile alien races encountered were defeated. But the danger came from where no one had expected it-from Warp. From it into our world, the demons of Chaos, who devastated hundreds of planets and broke the connection between the colonies of people. It seemed that the fate of mankind is predetermined, but there appeared one who became the savior of the empire of people, the Emperor. He genetically created 12 immortal superhumans - Primarchs. And the best of them was Horus, the Emperor's favorite son. The cycle "Heresy of Horus" tells about the greatness and fall of the best warrior of the Empire.

The greatest of the Primarchs

The series "Heresy of Horus" is not finished yet, the authors constantly supplement the cycle with new works. Each book reveals the world in which the Civil War is going, unleashed by Horus, the immortal Primarch. At the moment, Horus Heresy has 25 works. In the story, humanity slowly regains its former power. The Emperor started a new crusade against the demons of Chaos, his legions lead 12 sons-generals, winning one victory after another. The best of them Horus (Lupercal), is an example to follow for all the warriors of the Empire. But even the great warrior could not resist the temptations of Chaos and fell victim to his own vanity. Lupercal betrayed his father and with him all of humanity. So began the Civil War, in the crucible of which hundreds of planets were burnt. And only after reading the whole cycle, you will find out how the Horus Heresy will end. How will the war end between father and son for the right to rule humanity.
