Russian and Soviet film actress Zhanna Prokhorenko, born in the Ukrainian city of Poltava, was born on May 11, 1940. My father died in a year and a half at the front, and Jeannette (this is her real name) moved with her mother to Leningrad, where her career began. The girl entered the theater studio at the Palace of Pioneers Zhdanov, on Nevsky Prospekt, 39. There the future movie star received the first acting skills, which she later used when she moved to Moscow, applied to the VGIK and auditioned in the selection committee.

Zhanna Prokhorenko: personal life

When Jeanne studied at the second year of VGIK, she met Gennady Vasilyev, the future director. This meeting occurred after the film "The Ballad of a Soldier" appeared on the screens. The actress and director's divorce took place several years later, when Jeanne was already acquainted with Arthur Makarov, adopted son of Sergei Apollinarievich Gerasimov and Tamara Makarova, who had no children of their own. Zhanna Prokhorenko's future second husband successfully worked at the Mosfilm studio as a screenwriter.

Civil marriage of actress

Prokhorenko and Makarov lived happily for more than ten years. And when the post-perestroika time of the 90s came, Arthur left his literary career and took up business. He opened his own enterprise for the production of furniture accessories and began to get acquainted indiscriminately acquaintances in all spheres of furniture production. In the autumn of 1995, a tragedy occurred - Arthur Makarov was killed in his own house by unknown criminals. The robbers took out everything valuable: things, money and antique furniture.

After losing her husband, Zhanna Prokhorenko, whose personal life began to crumble, retired to a village house, acquired shortly before the murder.
