If we take as a basis that the classical kyata is the capital city, Yerevan, then let's consider such a recipe first.

Gata Armenian round

In Yerevan, it is prepared in an unarmed way. The whole flavor of dessert is that a large amount of butter is used, which simply kneads into the dough, making it look more like a yeast than a yeast puff. Two glasses of flour sift through a sieve in a deep bowl, add a pinch of salt and a half teaspoon of soda. Lean from a freezer a pack (250 g) of butter quickly three on a grater in a flour. Baking

Armenian cake: step-by-step recipe

In Artsakh, Garabagh and Kirovakan, the yeast dough for this dessert is made by a vapour method. First, heat milk or water to 35 ° C. The usual stuffing for ghat is called choriz in Armenia. It is made from butter - melted or, conversely, frozen, vanillin, sugar and flour. Since such a filling is badly rubbed into the dough and can cause its breakthrough, in another way, a festive Armenian ghat is formed. The recipe advises you to properly oil the yeast base, which is blended with a sponge. Pre-put in the freezer 80 grams of butter. Let's sift into a deep bowl 120 g of flour of the highest grade, mixed with a half glass of powdered sugar. Add a spoonful of vanillin. This is a great recipe for those who do not know how or do not like to cook. An Armenian gata made of puff pastry is made. It must first be thawed at room temperature, remove the cellophane shell.
