Why do people commit a crime? Riddle or pattern?

Some of us, willingly or unwillingly, are predisposed to some or other actions that contradict the ideas of society about legality and morality. Why do people commit crimes? The reasons for this are very ambiguous. Let's try to understand.

Crime and responsibility

First, let's define in terms. Why do people commit crimes? In legal literature, a crime is treated as an act that is socially dangerous, and as a violation of legal norms established by laws. And for the commission of this act bear criminal or administrative responsibility. Despite all the measures taken by the society, which, as a rule, are aimed at encouraging citizens to enforce laws and life according to the rules, many people violate them almost every day!

And it is often difficult for us to understand why one person has committed a crime, and another - no (in the same situation).

Social conditions

The social environment plays a paramount role in the development and development of the criminal. Why do people commit a crime? First of all, it is necessary to take into account the different processes taking place in society. For example, the weakness of power as such or, worse, the legal imperfection of laws.

Consumer society

The desire to acquire benefits at any cost in the present world is also one of the reasons why people commit a crime. Some want to get rich by any means, others want to consume more and more. And individuals, someone and somehow "moved away from the trough," also want to live "rich". But it is very difficult to achieve these goals by legal means!

A family

The family plays a priority role in the formation of antisocial behavior . Why do people commit a crime? There are many factors that determine the origin of the wrongful act. For example, the use on a permanent basis of a system of punishments, insufficient authority of parents for the child, inconsistency of the requirements of the household to the youngest member of the community cell, the absence of one of the parents (inferiority of the family). All this complicates the normal development of children in terms of public morality. As a consequence - a misunderstanding of the norms of behavior and the emergence of conflicts first in the family, and then in society.

School

Of course, it is sensible to talk about behavior that contradicts the norms of society, only in relation to persons who have reached a certain age (not earlier than six to eight years). A very small child can not control and realize his behavior sufficiently, and also correlate it with existing social norms, because only in school (partly in the kindergarten) does he face with the requirements of the adult world, behavioral rules and laws. So the stages of the socialization of the individual begin. And it is from this time that children's actions are viewed through the prism of law. Anti-social behavior can be manifested as a violation of school discipline, lying, hooliganism, petty theft, escape from home.

In adolescence (twelve-seventeen) age, these are increasingly defined acts. The boys - theft, hooliganism. Girls have prostitution. Recently, drugs and arms were added to the list, racket, fraud, pimping. Alienation from family and school is the beginning of a criminal "career". The next step is to enter a criminal gang or gang and, finally, commit a crime.

Sexual differences

They, oddly enough, also determine (and significantly) the characteristics of the wrongful act. Male criminals are much more, this is well known. There are crimes characteristic of one sex or another. For example, women are most often engaged in prostitution, and auto-men are stolen. There are typical "male" crimes. Rape, for example. But there are mixed types of illegal actions, equally accessible for both men and women: theft, fraud, murder, the so-called business Kidalovo.

Results: Why do people commit crimes?

The writing on this subject (Dostoevsky, "Crime and Punishment") is written at the final or entrance exams on Russian literature today! It is very versatile and relevant. It is difficult to predict how a normal person at first glance will act in a difficult situation for him. At the same time, some people are potentially ready to commit a crime, although they know about the punishment provided for it.

The riddle of what motivates a certain individual to act (unlawful) or why people commit a crime remains as before unsolved. Each criminal agrees with his motives and realities of perception of the world. So, as they say, "from prison and from money" ...

The main thing is to remember that we are all people (by no means justifying what the criminal did), and where you can forgive - try to do this by showing maximum humanity.
