The tongue twisters originated in ancient Russia. It's a catch phrase with specially selected words that are difficult to pronounce. Such phrases help to master the difficulties of speech, learn to speak correctly and beautifully.

What were they meant for?

The tongue twisters are folk art. This is not a simple set of words, but phrases with meaning, drawing allegorically episodes from life, often causing a smile. They planned that the child, as he grew and developed, would master tongue twisters from the simplest variants to more difficult and capacious proposals, drawing a "picture" of what was happening in his head.

Children often have problems with speech, especially often it is impossible to pronounce the sound of "p". If you often speak the patter on the letter "p", you can achieve a good result. The most popular: "In the yard - grass, on the grass - firewood" - this is a short version of a long and complex phrase, the second part of which sounds like: "Do not cut wood: in the yard - grass." How to work?

Teaching the child a clear pronunciation of tongue twisters for the development of the letter "p", it is important to follow the elementary rules:

  • Classes to conduct in game mode;
  • First the phrase must be learned: words, pronunciation and order of words;
  • It should begin with a slow repetition of the learned phrase, with a clear pronunciation of all the letters and sounds;
  • Now you can accelerate the rate of pronunciation;
  • There are various variants of pronouncing, including tongue twisters with the letter "p": in a whisper, singing, quietly or loudly;
  • Read the child a few phrases, select those that he likes, work with them;

Ask your baby how many children there were, what their name was, what they ate. The child will quickly remember the tongue twister on the letter "p", if he activates the associative memory. Working in the "questions and answers" mode, the kid learns to think logically, remember what they say, will be more interested in the surrounding world, developing an outlook and thinking. The kid himself will ask him to read the new sentence, if involved in the game with words and sounds.
