We bake a lamb leg in the oven. Recipe with green beans

Lamb is considered to be very tasty meat. For baking in the oven you can take different pieces. Especially good is the leg of lamb. You can prepare it in the following way.

Recipe: lamb leg (in the oven) with green beans

For preparation you need to have the following products available:

  • Lamb leg weighing about 1.5 kg;
  • Vegetable oil of 30 ml;
  • Ziru, salt, coriander;
  • Garlic cloves - 3 pieces;
  • Onion - about 100 grams (2 heads);
  • Dijon mustard - 3 teaspoons;
  • Green beans (pods) - 400 grams;
  • Melted cream butter - 80 grams.

1st step

Initially, the lamb leg, like any other meat, must be marinated. First, grate a piece on all sides with a large sea salt. Then prepare a mixture of butter, mustard, ground pepper and coriander, zira, chopped garlic. If there is, then you can add sour plum juice (or a bit of fruit vinegar). With the resulting mixture, cover the leg, put it in a bag. Then pour the remainder of the marinade and put the package in the refrigerator.

Step 2

It takes 12 hours to marinate. But if the leg is for a day or two, then nothing terrible will happen, just turn it a couple of times in the package, so that the marinade is distributed evenly.

Step 3

From the piece, peel off the sticky mustard seeds and lay the meat in a sleeve. Twist the ends and place the mutton on a glass baking sheet or mold. To the bottom of the piece is not burnt, put the sticks under it and pour a little water. Bake the lamb leg in the oven for 20 minutes at 220 degrees, then lower the heat to 180 and hold for about an hour.

Step 4

At the end of time, cut the sleeve, turn the piece to the other side. We again bake a leg of mutton in the oven. But now in the open state and only 15 minutes, periodically watering the juice.

While we are preparing a leg of mutton in the oven, you can think about the garnish. Meat fits well with vegetables, so we suggest we put out green beans. You can buy a package of pods in the store or use home-made preparations. Cut the onion into thin semirings. Melt butter and a little bow in it. Green beans pre-boil in boiling salted water (a few minutes), then, draining the liquid, add to the onion. Serve the dish with chopped garlic, sprinkle with pepper, try on salt. Stew beans for about 10 minutes. Before the end, sprinkle the dish with fruit vinegar.

6th step

Lamb should already be prepared simultaneously with the beans. Make sure the meat is fried evenly on all sides. Pierce the leg with a sharp knife, clear juice should go from it. Now bake the lamb leg in the oven at minimum temperature. The essence of the procedure is to allow the meat to brew, soak back the secreted juice and become more tender and soft. It takes 20 minutes.

7th step

Place the leg of the leg on a large dish, next place the stewed green beans. Decorate the dish with vegetables. You can make cowberry sauce. It gives the meat extra flavor. Make it simple. In a blender, chop half a glass of cowberry with two or three tablespoons of sugar. Bring to a boil on the stove, season with pepper and pour a leg of mutton.
