Universal fertilizers for potatoes

Potato is one of the main places in our diet. To increase the yield and quality of tubers, apply various fertilizers for potatoes. As early as the end of the 19th century, it was proved by experience that pouring nutrients directly into the nests is much more effective than fertilizing the entire site.

The introduction of bone flour into the ground can increase the yield several times and significantly improve the taste of the tubers. Potatoes harvested from such a site contains several times more starch. The use of such a fertilizer for potatoes, such as phosphoric acid and nitrogen, helps to increase the yield.

Not wishing to use mineral fertilizers for potatoes, it is possible to get a large and high-quality harvest. To do this, use natural fertilizers for potatoes. For a long time, manure was used to feed any vegetables. Potatoes also react well to organic additives. By introducing the overgrazing manure for the planting potatoes, we can increase the yield several times. A major disadvantage of this supplementation is an increased risk of tuber disease in the scab.

How to make manure, choose only you. This will depend on the initial amount of fertilizing. You can scatter it around the potato field before digging the site. If manure is a little, then it is more expedient to mix it with peat and pour into the holes for the planting material. One hundredth of the earth will require the introduction of 10 kilograms of organic matter.

There are cases when there is no manure, but chemistry is impossible. Then the ciders will come to the rescue. Universal fertilizers for potatoes and any other vegetable culture. Planted and buried on one hundred square meters of green fertilizer will bring to the ground the amount of nutrients, which equals 200 kilograms of manure. Properly using the natural properties of various plants, you can completely abandon the introduction of chemicals on the site.

An excellent fertilizer for potatoes is wood ash, which includes a large amount of potassium, micro and macro elements. The introduction of only ash on the site is enough to give the plants all the necessary nutrients. Ash does not only feed vegetables. It helps to reduce the acidity of the soil.

Mixing the ash with the ground to plant the potatoes will allow him to obtain the necessary potassium in the form of carbonate salts, which are digested much better than mineral fertilizers. Experienced it was possible to prove that the obtained crop, grown on ashes, has increased leavessness and is less susceptible to disease than similar, but received fertilizing from mineral fertilizers.

Potatoes do not tolerate lime and chlorine. The presence of these substances in the ground and top dressing can not only reduce the yield, but also completely destroy it. With excessive addition of nitrogen and calcium, potatoes are prone to scab disease. When introducing potassium into the ground, you should severely limit the feeding of ashes.

If you decide to use mineral fertilizers to increase the yield, then you should use ammonium nitrate. One kilogram of fertilizer per kilogram is required. Alternatively, urea can be added in the same proportion. These substances must be introduced before planting potatoes.

In the autumn or spring digging of the site, it will be necessary to add a complex fertilizer to potatoes. Nitrofoski needs 5 kilograms per one hundred square meters. If you prefer nitroammophoska, then it will take only 3 kilograms per one hundred square meters.

If there is sandy soil on the site, you can not do without the addition of magnesium sulphate. One square meter should be added 80 grams. You can replace this fertilizer with dolomite flour. The same area is enough to make only 20 grams.

The market of modern fertilizers is full of offers. But it should be remembered that in conditions of poor ecology and rapid rhythm of life, our body is greatly weakened. Do not feed it with vegetables grown in chemistry. It is necessary to use the centuries-old experience of nature.
