Because alcohol-based recipes based on their use are almost win-win for everyone, even for beginners in home winemaking.

To begin with, consider a few rules, having mastered which you will get more chances to produce a quality and delicious intoxicated product. First, berries take only home origin. It does not matter if the raspberry has grown in your garden or with your neighbor, the main thing is that you are sure that it was not treated with any chemicals during growth and maturation. Naturally, tincture of berries, in the home made on the basis of bought in the supermarket, for example, strawberries or raspberries - is absurd.

Secondly, the berries must be frozen before cooking. Thus, their structure is destroyed, and they are more willing to give all their taste and useful properties to alcohol. Thirdly, sugar is an obligatory basis for all berry tinctures. It helps to maximize the taste of fruits in the drink and gives it an additional strength. And the last of the mandatory: a tincture of berries at home can not be insisted for less than a month. Therefore, you do not need to open the lid frequently to see how it "feels" itself, and taste it. The first two weeks of insisting it is better not to disturb it at all.

Now, in fact, how to make a tincture of berries. Take for example raspberries. The simplest recipe is to mix it with sugar in equal parts and pour vodka. Proportions can be taken any, depending on what strength of the drink you want to get. Any tincture of berries, made at home, is insisted in a dark place in a sealed container. And the longer it is, the more rich and refined will be its taste.

Tinctures of alcohol prepared for the same pattern, only alcohol diluted with water. In such drinks you can add various spices, honey, leafy fruit trees, endlessly playing with taste. As they say, in moderation - that's good. The main thing is not to abuse.
