The History of the Warren Family: Real Haunted Hunters

Ed and Lorraine Warren are some of the most famous explorers of the paranormal. For decades, this couple traveled around the country, coming to the aid of people suffering from supernatural activity. But what is the story of the Warren family? Who were these people before they became known to the whole world by demonologists?

The Warren family: a short biography

Of course, brave "ghost hunters" these people were not always. Edward Warren was born on September 7, 1926. His wife Lorraine Rita Moran was born on January 31, 1927. From the age of sixteen, Ed worked at the Bridgeport Theater, where he met his future wife. It was here that Loraine and her mother came every Wednesday. When Edward was 17 years old, he enrolled in the navy. After several months of service, during the 30-day holiday the young people got married.

After the end of World War II, Ed returned home and became a free artist - his paintings sold well, and money was enough for a living. Approximately at this time, the "paranormal" story of the Warren family began, which, incidentally, lasted more than five years.

Ed died on August 23, 2006 in the town of Monroe, Connecticut.

The supernatural story of the Warren family

In fact, for the first time Edward encountered unusual phenomena in his childhood. When he was five years old, his family moved to a real haunted house. In the future, already an adult Ed repeatedly recollected how at night he was afraid of rustles, sounds and strange voices, saw moving objects for no reason, and once even saw a ghost - an angry old lady.

Edward's father, a police officer, urged the boy that every event has a rational explanation. Alas, the strangeness of their home Dad could not explain logically.

After the war, Ed began to be intensely interested in paranormal phenomena. At first, Lorraine did not believe in the existence of otherworldly worlds, but after several first investigations her opinion changed. Both spouses began active self-educational activity - they studied a lot of scientific and esoteric literature. Naturally, the first studies were given to a young couple not easily, because they were just children, whom no one took seriously. But every year their popularity and popularity grew - now many families asked them for help.

The history of the Warren family: the most famous investigations

The spouses account for more than four thousand investigations. Ghosts, spirits, demons, even werewolves and vampires - all this is the story of the Warren family. A lot of events formed the basis of the stories of documentary and feature films. Ed and Lorraine became not only world famous "hunters", but also actors and screenwriters.

For example, the film "My horror of Amitville" tells a story about how a young family Lutzov bought a house in a small town. Immediately after the introduction, they began to notice strange things - the windows and doors themselves closed, things moved as if of their own volition, and one night, even Mrs. Lutz was immobilized in the air. After the examination of the house, the spouses Warren confirmed the presence of a demon in him.

Today, everyone has a rumor about the film "The Enchantment," also based on the story of Ed and Lorraine, who at one time really helped the Perron family with the expulsion of evil spirits. In fact, there are a lot of such stories, and from some really hair on the back of the head begin to move.

During his life, the Warren's spouses managed to open the Museum of Occultism, where very interesting exhibits are presented, allowing to study the adventurous life of hunters. They also founded and financed an institute that deals with the study of paranormal phenomena.
