Than thrush is dangerous?

A huge part of the world's population are carriers of candidiasis, without even knowing it. A significant number of women almost all their life "fight" with the thrush, because the disease takes a chronic nature. Is candidiasis dangerous to health in general, and what will happen if you do not treat thrush?

There is an opinion that in itself a thrush is a more unpleasant phenomenon than a dangerous one. But this does not mean that you should not take medical measures against him. Why?

Firstly, because a rare woman does not experience discomfort from manifestations of thrush - itching in the genital area, abundant cheesy inflammation and pain in physical proximity, as well as visiting the toilet room.

Secondly, there is a possibility of repeated infection: you underwent a set of therapeutic measures, and your sexual partner is not there; At subsequent sexual contacts you can again pick up the thrush, and so on ad infinitum.

Thirdly, the presence of thrush can be a concomitant phenomenon of other inflammatory processes, which can be more dangerous.

Fourthly, if the milkwoman is not treated, it can take a chronic form.

That's why, not treating thrush is bad.

The presence of thrush is especially undesirable during pregnancy, because at this time the organs and systems of the future organism are laid. The consequences of thrush for a child can be very deplorable. According to statistics, in 70% of cases, candidiasis is transmitted from a pregnant mother to a child. And this means that pregnancy and thrush should not be combined! That's why gynecologists around the world do not tire of repeating that pregnancy should be planned, and before conception, mom and dad should be cured of all sorts of diseases.

Than thrush for a baby is dangerous?

Typically, infection occurs at the time of delivery, when the child moves through the birth canal. Usually, the infection affects the umbilical cord, the mucous membrane of the mouth and respiratory tract, or the skin. It manifests itself in the form of white plaque, redness and swelling of the mucosa.

In rare cases, the internal organs of the fetus are affected, for example, the brain. If the entire fetal body is affected, which, fortunately, happens very rarely, then the pregnancy ends in a miscarriage.

Than a thrush for a woman is dangerous?

There are three forms of leaking of thrush: carriage, acute and chronic. In the first period (carrier), a woman may not even suspect a problem. What is dangerous for thrush in this period? Transmission of infection to a partner, the development of an acute form of the disease.

During the period of exacerbation of the yeast infection (acute form), the symptoms of the disease manifest themselves (intolerable itching, curd fever , etc.). The danger is to ignore the treatment and, as a consequence, the transition of the disease to a chronic form.

Chronic form of the thrush makes itself felt at least 4 times a year, and in a period of calm woman can be bothered by itching and discharge of varying intensity. What is dangerous for thrush during this period? Symptoms can be confused with sexually transmitted diseases, and the danger is that, ignoring the treatment of the disease that you are taking for candidiasis, you can cause the body a lot of harm.

In addition, thrush is a favorable factor for inflammatory diseases in the bladder and urethra. However, candidiasis can provoke pathology of the cervix, which in some cases is fraught with the development of an oncological tumor.

The appearance of thrush is associated with the decline of the immune system, and since there are no protective forces in the body, it means that it is an easy prey for various kinds of infections and diseases. Therefore, talk about the harmlessness of thrush does not make sense. And it is hardly possible to call "harmless" manifestations of candidiasis so inoffensive.
