They can be different, depending on where the tumor is localized. Symptoms of cancer of the larynx, which arose in the region of the vocal cords, can begin with aphonia - gradually increasing hoarseness. In severe cases, the voice may completely disappear. If the tumor originates in the upper part of the pharynx, then it can cause pain similar to sensations in angina. They may not increase, but not disappear. Gradually, they are joined by toothache, difficulty in swallowing. Symptoms of cancer of the larynx of neglected degree: cough, pain when swallowing, veins of blood in saliva and at a cough. This malignant tumor, like others, has four stages of development. The first one does not give place to the stasis, it is localized only in one area of the pharynx: on the mucosa or under it. In the second stage, the tumor increases, occupies the entire department (ligamentous, sub- or over-ligamentous), but does not go beyond it. A cure is also possible. Third degree: the tumor is metastasized to other organs. In this case, doctors usually prescribe a comprehensive treatment, which may include surgery, drug therapy, radio wave treatment, X-rays, and the like. In the fourth, the last stage, tumors appear in different organs, even distant from the larynx. Most often, the disease at this stage is incurable.
