Where is Aktash failure?

Aktashsky dip is an amazing natural monument located on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan, near the village of Kaleikino (Almetyevsky district). If you look at it from above or look at pictures taken from space, it creates a complete impression that it is a crater of a volcano filled with water of an unusual "sea" color.

Description

According to the data of 1966, the depth of the dip is 20 m (average - 11 m), the depth of the lake is 28 m, the area of its mirror is 0.1 hectare, and the volume of water is 3 thousand cubic meters. M. The object has repeatedly changed its outlines, although during the last several decades its condition is stable.

At the lake, located on the bottom of the Aktashsky dip, underground steady food. The water in it is odorless and colorless. It is distinguished by high mineralization and high transparency, refers to the hydrocarbonate-calcium chemical type.

History

If the formation of the Aktashsky dip occurred today, this event would certainly have become a world sensation, and hundreds of TV men and journalists would have rushed in the neighborhood of the village of Kaleikino. Following this, sites and the print press would be full of articles and photos under catchy headlines announcing the end of the world or the attack of aliens. However, in August 1939, when the Aktashsky dip was formed, everything was completely different, and this relevant event attracted more interested government officials than idle gapers.

So, on the 7th of 1939, a CTZ tractor operated on the collective farm field. Suddenly, the earth fell under it. As the descendants of the witnesses recall, the parents told them that the tractor driver had managed to jump out of the cab, and the formed funnel, into which the "people's property" collapsed, quickly began to fill with water. Fearing accusations of wrecking, the present did everything to save the tractor, but they failed to do so. There is also an opinion that the person who was in the cabin could not get out, and he became the only one who died as a result of a natural cataclysm of karst origin in the territory of the USSR.

Version of origin

According to some Tatarstan scientists, the lake (Aktashsky dip) arose as a result of dissolution of limestone cement, which was accompanied by the removal of sand material to the surface. At the same time groundwater was the driving force. Most likely, at some point in the sandstone two foci (at an altitude of 771-866 cm and 530-657.5 cm) of the karst-suffosion process were observed. The resulting cavity (shaft) due to gravitational processes over a long period of time shifted to the surface. Thus, the appearance of a failure was inevitable, and the movement of the tractor over the "roof" of the mine only slightly accelerated the occurrence of the failure.

Research

Initially, the Aktashsky dip had a depth of 52 m and a diameter of 5 m. In the early 1950s the situation changed. Scientists have found out that its depth has decreased to 35 m, and the level of the lake located on its bottom was 28 m. At the same time, the diameter of the "funnel" has significantly increased - reached 25 m.

Somewhat later, an attempt was made to lower the divers into the lake. They found out that at a depth of about 25 meters a very strong current, so the leaders of the expedition decided to stop the work. In order to determine the location of the underground flow to the surface, a special dye dropped into the water column, but the experiment did not yield any results.

How to get there

To view the Aktashsky dip, the photo of which is presented above, it is necessary to arrive by car to the village of Kaleikino, which is accessible from the route "Almetyevsk-Kazan" or from Naberezhnye Chelny. If you do not have your own transport, then use the services of the railway. In this case, you need to get off at the station "Almetyevskaya", where trains from Moscow, Naberezhnye Chelny and Perm stop. Despite the name, it is in the village of Kaleikino, on the outskirts of which you will see metal fences. Behind them is the famous Aktashsky dip. The coordinates of the object are 54 ° 54 '54 "north latitude, 52 ° 08' 52" east longitude.

The Druzhba oil pipeline

Neighborhoods Kaleikino interesting for another reason: next to the failure is a group of remarkable industrial buildings, which simply can not be ignored. This equipment is the starting point of the famous oil pipeline "Friendship". From there, "black gold" through Almetyevsk and Samara is transported to the countries of Europe. In the Russian Federation, the pipeline's main line crosses the territories of 32 districts of 8 regions. Almost ½ of the total Russian oil exported to the countries of the near and far abroad is channeled through the pipeline.

Interesting objects in the vicinity

People wishing to see the Aktash failure are traveling to Kaleikino from all over Russia and even from some CIS countries. Especially often there are lovers of diving, who dive in the hope of unraveling the secrets of this pond. In particular, recently they found a small grotto at the bottom.

Local residents argue that the Aktashsky dip is not the only interesting natural site in the vicinity of Kaleikino. In particular, in the village of Kichuchatovo, east of the dip, there is a well, from which the sounds of the underground current can be clearly heard. And it seems that large stones are rolling down below.

Nearby there is another miraculous sight - a small river through which a small bridge is tossed. Under it, it is divided into 2 arms, and if you look from above, you can see that they flow in different directions, in a circle!

Now you know what is interesting Aktashsky failure. Tatarstan, with the exception of the capital and 2-3 major cities, is a real "terra incognito" for tourists. But there are many interesting natural, cultural and historical sights that are worth seeing. Therefore, at the first opportunity, visit the Aktashsky dip. The nature monument of such beauty and mystery in our country is rather difficult to meet, and we should not lose our chance, especially since no one knows if it will disappear in a few years as suddenly as it arose.
