Suspected of killing two nurses in a St. Petersburg hospital detained

Even in our turbulent age, in which the death of a person is no longer considered a special event, the death of two women, medical workers, shocked the public. Even more shocking was the fact that the alleged killers were declared military men, defenders of the country and patients of the hospital in which they were examined. Only the court can convict these young people, therefore today they are only suspects, but the flight of soldiers and their attempt to leave the country illegally contribute to the impression of their involvement in the crime.

The preliminary version of the plot

According to the correspondents of the Fontanka resource, the witnesses saw one of the servicemen who fled afterwards, namely the contractor Alexander Tomsky, when he was leaving the nursing room with a bloody knife in his hand. This was preceded by screams, to which the nurse in the corridor reacted, and she was strangled by the same person who had previously stabbed the first medical officer. Then three patients, including Tomsky, finished what they had climbed into the nursing room, where they were caught by the victim, opened a box to store documents and took their papers. After that, they left the 442nd District Military Hospital. Solovyov in the yard, climbed over the fence and disappeared. The non-interference of witnesses and their non-interference with the crime raised questions, but this is most likely due to the fact that the tragic events took place in the department of psychiatry. Suspects are diagnosed with severe forms of diseases - psychopathy and various forms of neurotic dysfunction. They are all very young, they are about nineteen years old.

Detention

On the night of Monday to Tuesday, immediately after the discovery of bodies, the military and municipal police of St. Petersburg was raised on alert. The criminal case is instituted immediately, under an article providing for responsibility for the murder of two or more persons by prior agreement, which is an aggravating circumstance. By the second half of the day, the search activities had succeeded, however, the suspects were not detained by policemen, but by border guards who received orientation through the FSB. The capture took place not far from the city of Svetogorsk, an hour's walk from the Finnish border (six kilometers). Probably, the fugitives intended to leave on the contiguous side near the settlement Storozhevoye. If they are recognized as legally capable, an attempt to illegally cross the border will also become part of the prosecution. According to another version, the suspects were detained because of the signaling of the border system.

Suspected

There are three suspects, two of them are conscripts (David Ziganshin and Alexander Tomsky), and the third (Stepan Datsenko) studied at the first year of the Military Academy. Zhukovsky. How they managed to overcome a hundred and fifty kilometers to the place where they were caught, it is not yet known, the circumstances of such a rapid transition in search conditions are now being clarified by the investigation. The chances of crossing the border were minimal, but even if they were sent to Finland, this would not mean avoiding responsibility, extradition in such cases is inevitable. True, a major international scandal could arise, especially if the number of victims increased, and they could become citizens of the neighboring state. Whatever it was, but the fugitives were seized near Lesogorsk power station. The correspondents of "Fontanka" managed to obtain some information about the personalities of the suspects.

Tomsk

Alexander Tomsky, named the main suspect and likely direct killer, a native of St. Petersburg. Since December of last year, he served in the educational part No. 6716, specializing in "unit commander" and during this period did not show any painful inclinations, he behaved friendlessly with other soldiers. After the "training" was sent to Lebyazhye (50 km from St. Petersburg), assigned to the company of intelligence 33 dd. Brigade of operational assignment of internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation. There he began to notice strangeness, even a suspicion arose in the use of narcotic substances. He was characterized badly, he was irresponsible. In March, he voluntarily left the unit without returning from the dismissal. When Tomsky was found, he declared his desire to commit suicide, to hang himself. Was sent to the hospital for medical examination. He is diagnosed with psychopathy. At the same time, the draft medical commission did not reveal the disease. Two weeks after entering the hospital, a terrible thing happened.

Ziganshin

He was born and lived in Dimitrovgrad (Ulyanovsk region), nothing bad could be said about him, the guy was good-natured and positive in every sense. David Ziganshin actively participated in public life, worked in volunteer organizations and the local committee on youth affairs. In general, he produced the impression of a purposeful person, his personal qualities allowed to assume a successful future. Apparently, David first began to repent of the misdeed, two hours after the escape he talked to his girlfriend on the phone and, apparently, informed her of what had happened. Shortly before his arrest, he managed to get a phone call from his mother, and he told her that he wanted to show his guilt, but did not know how to do it. To my great regret, he never managed to surrender voluntarily. The degree of his guilt is to be established by the investigation, while he is considered an accomplice.

Datsenko

Stepanu Datsenko has not yet turned nineteen. First-year student of the Space Academy. Mozhaysky, he managed to get disappointed in military service and wanted to write a report on the expulsion. In social networks he registered under a pseudonym, characterized himself as a sociopath. At inspection at it the neurotic reaction (as well as at Ziganshin) is diagnosed. In the hospital I felt uncomfortable, I dreamed of freedom. During his last visit to his website on March 28, Kuprin was quoted as saying. Stepan before the academy lived in Voronezh, was fond of playing the guitar (learned himself), English and rugby, loved his dog. He showed interest in studying Polish and Italian languages. He did not smoke, he positioned himself as an Orthodox person. His manner of communication in social networks made an impression of excessive emotionality.

Victim, nurse Olga Gorokhova

She worked as a psychiatric nurse for more than three decades, she lived with her family in Kupchino. She, too, like Dotsenko, had a dog. Olga Gorokhova was very fond of her family - her husband, son, daughter-in-law and grandson. She was a very modest person, she did not tell anyone about her hard work, and as it turned out, very dangerous work in a hospital in Suvorovsky Prospekt.

Opinion of human rights defenders

Representatives of the organization "Soldiers' Mothers" have already expressed their opinion about disruptions in the military hospital, harsh conditions and "not quite right" personnel. In addition, human rights activists noted that the internal regime is not provided with reliable protection, and the perimeter of the medical institution is controlled only at the checkpoint. Also, "Soldiers' mothers" pointed to the possibility in the medical institution of hazing. There are only two departments in psychiatry, one of which is considered strict. With regard to protection, the claims of the human rights organization are probably justified: the fugitives managed to leave the hospital fairly easily. All the rest is to be clarified to the investigative authorities. Medical examination for sanity is also inevitable.
