Russian publicist Ruslan Ustrakhanov: biography

Ruslan Ruslan Ruslan, whose biography resembles the life of a special agent from popular militants with a dashingly twisted plot, is a former colonel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. This person has long stayed in the Scandinavian countries, since in Russia he was allegedly accused of espionage and cooperation with the Norwegian intelligence.

Brief biographical data

After returning to Russia (in 2014) Ruslan Ustrakhanov sent a letter to the editor of one of the Internet magazines, which describes in detail the story of how he became a victim of corruption among former colleagues of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and big business.

In this letter he indicated some of his biographical data. It says that Ustrakhanov was born and raised in Kazakhstan. Regarding their parents, the former militiaman writes that they were both repressed. By nationality, the mother is a Greek, and her father is a Chechen.

Ruslan served in the army and after completing his service entered the university at the Faculty of Law. His education, he graduated, received a red diploma.

Career development

A young graduate of the Faculty of Law began his work in the Republic of Komi. Further, Ruslan Ruslan, the photo of which is presented in this article, received an appointment to the October OVD (1985). There he worked as an investigator for 2 years. In 1987, he was transferred to the Pechenga district, where he also worked as an investigator. Over time, he led a special group that dealt with the fight against economic crimes.

Since 1992, Ruslan Vladimirovich Ustrakhanov was sent to Moscow to work in the main department, which was engaged in the investigation of economic crimes. Being an employee of this organization, he mainly led cases of embezzlement in the banking sector, which were carried out by ethnic groups.

After 1995, his career swiftly went up. During this period he was appointed deputy head of the investigative department in the Pechenga district department of internal affairs. Three years later, Ruslan Ustrakhanov decided to resign, since he could already afford a pension due to the length of service.

Retirement and return to law enforcement agencies

After completing the activities in the ROVD, Ruslan Vladimirovich worked for two years in one of the subsidiaries of Norilsk Nickel. There he held the post of head of the legal department and led the contract work of the enterprise. According to the future fugitive, on his return to the police insisted the police department and the higher authorities.

In 2000, he accepted the proposal to lead the Pechenga ATS in the Murmansk region. He holds this position until 2003, after which he becomes the head of the Department of Internal Affairs of Monchegorsk.

Rapprochement with Norway

It is known that the Murmansk region is in close proximity to the Scandinavian countries. In the field of law enforcement, the region has historically developed cooperation with neighboring Norway. Ustrakhanov claims that his close contact with his Norwegian counterparts during the period when he was in charge of the OVD in the Murmansk region was caused solely by professional interest. At that time, various joint exercises and friendly meetings were encouraged, as they were held to exchange experiences.

With such friendly visits, Ruslan Vladimirovich often went to Kirkenes, where an informal exchange of information took place. Thus, friendship between police officers of two neighboring countries was confirmed. In gratitude for such cooperation, Ruslan Ustrakhanov was even officially invited to Oslo (in 2002), where he was thanked for his joint work.

In 2003, the police colonel was transferred to Monchegorsk, where, he said, the issue with illegal immigrants was acute. Ruslan Vladimirovich managed to solve this problem and reduce crime in this region. He does not hide that at this time he continued to cooperate with old friends from the Norwegian police. Colonel assures that even then Russian special services were interested in such friendship. He claims that he was followed, and his apartment was equipped with listening equipment. But since Ustrahanov's conscience was clear, he did not bother with such an interest in his person at first.

Ambiguous proposals to work in counterintelligence

During the next visit to Oslo (2003) the Russian colonel made an interesting proposal. As a gratitude for fruitful cooperation, the Norwegians offered Ruslan material rewards. A receipt was required from him for the receipt of the sum of money. Realizing the possible consequences of such an incident, Usrakhanov refused and went back to Russia.

Being a police colonel, this person should have realized that in fact his recruitment was already taking place to work for Norway. But for some reason he did not stop cooperating with this country. In 2007, there was another very interesting incident. During his next visit to Oslo, he was offered to sign a document, according to which he recognized that he was an agent of the FSB and was engaged in the recruitment of Norwegian representatives who are on duty in Murmansk. In return, they promised that Norway would become for him "a second home, where he would like it very much."

Accusation of espionage

Most likely, this incident became known to Russian special services. Frequent visits to Scandinavia have already interested the FSB officers. Usrakhanov was also seen during his visits to Stockholm, where, he said, he had a very close friend. Similar rides, contacts with diplomats and communication with certain personalities were not liked by Russian special services, and, according to Ruslan, compromising material was being prepared against him. The future refugee said that he began to panic, and after the FSB officers invited him to a not very pleasant conversation, he decided to flee.

Escape to Scandinavia

Soon Ruslan Ushrakhanov, whose personal life is not made public, and information about the presence of his wife and children remains closed, went to Norway alone. After that, he moved to Sweden, and a few months later he was in Finland. There he led the life of a simple refugee, and very soon the question arose of lack of money.

It was then that he met with a CIA employee and offered to work as a journalist. Ushrakhanov was promised to create an image of a correspondent forced to flee his country and write opposition Russian articles. On the basis of this activity, the new publicist was promised a legalization in Norway.

Fictitious journalist exposing Russia

The information space began to be filled with publications that sharply criticized Russian politics and exposed the government. They were published under the authorship of Ustrakhanov. Today, this person assures that he has no relation to such criticism. Based on his words, we can conclude that Ruslan Vladimirovich was just selecting the factual material, and all the conclusions criticizing the Russian authorities were written by other people. In this way, the CIA conducted an information war against Russia.

Homecoming

Ustrakhanov never received refugee status, and eventually he was transferred to Oslo. Today he claims that the CIA in Norway feels free and controls almost all spheres there. Ruslan Vladimirovich states that he has become only an instrument in powerful anti-Russian propaganda. When he realized all this, he decided to flee back to Russia, which he successfully carried out in 2014.

This story raises many questions, and the stories of the former colonel give rise to some doubts. Today, Ruslan Ustrakhanov continues to publish his articles, which now expose the work of the CIA and intelligence agencies of the Scandinavian countries.
