Differential diagnosis of VSD provides for the exclusion of the following diseases:

- Ischemic heart disease;

- infectious-allergic myocarditis;

- rheumatism and acquired heart defects of rheumatic aetiology;

- Cardiomyopathy.

Treatment of CSA is predominantly symptomatic. Of great importance is the normalization of the way of life, general strengthening measures and exclusion of the impact on the body of factors that contribute to the development of the disease. From medications prescribe sedatives, tranquilizers, beta-blockers, antidepressants.
