Sights of the Samara region: regional, regional and city

The Samara region of the Russian Federation is a surprisingly picturesque and extraordinary land. This district is located on the banks of the mighty Volga River. The history of this region has several centuries, and she herself is beautiful, like a fairy tale. Sights of the Samara region are traces of each of the centuries. Today Samara is a modern city, but it has many entertaining corners that have come down to us from the depths of different eras.

German church and Jewish synagogue

The church, or the church of St. George, is the oldest Lutheran church not only in Samara, but also in the Volga region. His building blended seamlessly into local architectural paintings and sights of the Samara region as a whole. The facades of the church are executed in a bright gothic manner.

After the church council of the Lutheran commune, it was decided to purchase this building. But since the community did not have the finance for such a purchase, it turned to the German society for help. In 1865, Pundani (preacher) and Friedrich Meyer (pastor) consecrated the church foundation. The church was consecrated in honor of St. Georg.

The beginning of the construction of the synagogue in Samara dates back to 1904. The architect of the building was Zelman Kleinerman - a well-known architect in the city at that time. Construction work was completed four years later. In the summer of 1908, the synagogue was immediately opened and visited. The synagogue of Samara is a monument of architecture, but its condition is incredibly dramatic. However, many other sights of the Samara region are not distinguished by the excellent situation.

Factory-kitchen

The structure of the factory-kitchen has the form of a sickle and a hammer. It is impossible to view this symbol from the roofs adjoining the rear. But from the height of the flight of birds it is possible to do this. The factory-kitchen is located next to the plant. Maslennikova. According to historical information, for the erection of this object bricks were used from the broken churches.

The original version of the factory-kitchen was glass. But in connection with military actions, this material had to be replaced by brickwork. The sights of the Samara region were badly damaged during the two world wars. The chief architect of today's city is sure that the kitchen-factory should be reconstructed, because such a building can not be in this form.

Natural objects

The main natural attractions of the Samara region are Samara Luke, Buzuluk boron and cave Stepan Razin.

Samara Luke is a great place in the region. Due to its diverse climate, there is a unique flora and fauna in its kind. And some of its representatives live exclusively in the territory of Samara Luke. In this square there is also a national park and a nature reserve.

Buzuluksky boron appeared in the postglacial epoch on sand dunes. Approximately 6-7 thousand years ago in this area first appeared birch and pine island forests. Later, only pine forest grew.

The cave of Stepan Razin is located in the Stavropol region in the village of Bolshaya Ryazan. At one time near the village was a well-known robber. There is also a cave where he stayed with like-minded people. The grotto itself can be found in the southern part of the already familiar to the reader Luke. To get into this object is possible only in a pose of a half-bent person. Before the visitor will open a 20-meter hall four meters wide.

Otradny

Sights of the Otradnogo of the Samara region include the House of Culture, which regularly hosts shows of amateur art groups. Here there are various mugs. The local history museum is considered the property of the city. It exhibits an exhibition of items telling how the settlement was based and developed. And in the center of the village is a monument to Vladimir Lenin. Also here stands the sculpture, dedicated to local residents who died during the confrontation with Nazi Germany. In the neighborhood there is a stele, on which the names of the victims are engraved, as well as the Eternal Flame in their memory.

Mysterious Sergievsky district

Sights of the Sergievsky district of the Samara region are primarily the Blue Lake (Semiz-kule). The crater formed this pond. From its bottom beats a strong hydrogen sulphide spring. The lake is so transparent that you can see, as they say, all of its background. This condition is explained by the absence of any kind of life in it.

Residents of this region are sure that Blue has healing power. And about him there are several legends. So, it is rumored that in ancient times a cart and a horse fell through, but it was not possible to find anything. According to another belief, from time to time on the surface there are descended planks with secret letters.
