Australia is the most mysterious country in the world. Not only does it occupy the territory of the entire continent, it does not even have its own administrative apparatus. The head of Australia is the Queen of Great Britain. According to some versions it is considered that this particular territory was the last open continent. Animals and plants of Australia are of great scientific interest for scientists from all over the world.

Long ago, the continent separated from the entire terrestrial land and, thanks to this, preserved a unique natural diversity. It is thanks to this feature that these plants can survive even in the most arid conditions. One of the representatives of succulents is the prickly pear - a guest from America, settled down on the territory of the mainland.

Plants in Australia appear before the eyes of an unsophisticated viewer as something outlandish, hitherto unprecedented and, therefore, a very interesting sight. Like the lavender fields in Europe, here there is a bright orange and red crayfish, similarly named in honor of the lake from which it grows. It seems that all the representatives of the flora of Australia decided to arrange a costume ball here: the shrubs of the epakris and richey are dressed in bright white, pink and malachite dresses, clematis and harddenbery braid the tree trunks in gentle embraces and carpet the earth.

Of course, this country is famous for its kangaroos - except marsupials, there are representatives of the flora, named after this jumping beast - "kangaroo paws".
