Basically, from the shortened cuttings, the best grapes grow . The Rochefort variety is no exception. Their length should be from ten to twenty centimeters. On the cuttings should be located 2-3 kidneys. The planting material must be thoroughly rinsed and allowed to dry a little. After this, cuts are made above the upper kidney and below the lower one. On the lower part of the cuttings, the knife is made with several small notches under the slope, so that the rootlets in these places grow. The prepared material is immersed in a container with water for a couple of days. After this, it is necessary to process the cuttings with a preparation that will stimulate the growth of the roots.

Kilchevanie

Prepared planting material must be placed in the kiln. The killing procedure will accelerate the growth of rootlets, which will allow you to grow quickly and easily Rochefort (grapes). It is necessary to pour the cuttings with wet sawdust and place on a surface that is heated. In those places where roots should form, the temperature should be from 20 to 25 degrees. In the zone that will be above the soil level, the temperature should be no more than 15 degrees. If the upper bud of the planting material is heated, it will germinate.

Two weeks after kilting cuttings should be checked - whether they appeared on their roots. If yes, then they are transplanted into the soil mixture for further rooting. The further procedure of propagation and disembarkation of grapes is standard.
