"Proof of Death": actors, roles and photos

Quentin Tarantino is known for his friendship with Robert Rodriguez. Directors often help each other on film shootings, but it's unlikely that they will someday withdraw their joint work. However, not so long ago, in 2007, they created the "Grindhouse" dilogy, sustained in the spirit of the B-class tapes, which at one time were considered some kind of experimental cinema with a low budget, unknown actors and adult orientation. Rodriguez released the "Planet of Fear", and his devoted comrade picture "Proof of Death." Actors in both films, however, were selected not only for beginners, but also managed to win a name for themselves, and Tarantino's budget is usually not stingy.

Plot

The film resorts to some division into two parts with approximately the same timing. Both are connected by the presence of the main character, and at the same time the villain, Mike, but in addition to each involved different actors.

"Proof of death" begins when a trio of cheeky friends, who are called Arlene, Shanna and Julia Jungle, go on a short trip to Texas to celebrate the birthday of the latter. On the way, they stop at a small roadside bar to have a drink and relax. There they meet the stuntman Mike, along with his deadly machine, designed for tricks. By his behavior and appearance it becomes clear that he is starting something dangerous.

The second part carries for 14 months in advance after the first half of the painting "Proof of Death." Actors and roles change. Before the viewer, new girls appear, followed by an old stuntman again. Their confrontation unfolds on the track, where in the deadly race and the fate of the main characters will be decided.

Creator

Quentin Tarantino is one of the exemplary directors of America. The filming of his paintings are always held at the highest level. For the most part, his films are intended for an adult audience, as they contain a lot of frank, cruel and bloody scenes. It is the specificity and style that make it unique.

The same goes for his seventh full-length tape "Proof of Death." Actors in his projects are selected with special care. Its peculiarity is the combination of recognized, successful performers with beginners and young. Also the director almost always has his own cameo, which did not bypass this work. It is noteworthy that it was conceived as a kind of parody of operational cinema with the use of stamps and technical techniques peculiar to it. However, Tarantino himself later called her the worst in her career.

Kurt Russell

Meet the famous screen hero Kurt Russell as the main villain of the film "Proof of Death." Actors for this role were considered the most unexpected, including even Sylvester Stallone.

As already mentioned, the actors of the film "Proof of Death" in each of the parts involved different. In the first major roles went to young actresses, who were little shot until this moment. Also in this episode appears the famous actress Rose McGowan. Many remember her on the series "Enchanted", as well as the films "Scream", "Black Orchid" and "Machete". She will appear in another part of the "Planet of Fear".

Part 2

In fact, in the movie "Proof of Death," the actors are inferior in number to the actresses, since in the main the action takes place around female characters. The same thing happens in the final part of the picture. Here spectators get acquainted with equally charming Zoe, Abernayti, Kim and Lee Montgomery. All of them are somehow connected with the film business.

It is noteworthy that Zoya Bell, who played the role of stuntman, is connected with this profession in life. It was thanks to this that she met Tarantino and was invited to the film, but not as a performer of tricks.

Rosario Dawson also worked with the director on the filming of "City of Sins". In addition, you can see a lot of films with her participation, including "Clerks-2", "Seven Lives" and "Bohemia". In the latter she also played with Tracey Toms, who played the role of another stunt Kim.

And Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Li) for a long time played a secondary role and only in 2010 became famous after the film "Scott Pilgrim Against All".
