Romantic films and their naive utopian harmony

Romantic films are special films. Against the background of other cinematographers, they differ in that they depict not large-scale events, but rather particular cases and fates of ordinary people in certain circumstances. Romantic films are often comedies. Their heroes - funny losers do not solve global problems, they would at least manage with their own affairs and at least somehow arrange their lives.

Romantic films - this is not a real life, but a naive utopian harmony, which is broken by some unreal "scoundrels".

Romantic comedies, the list of which includes such films as "Love by the rules ... and without", "My only one", "The Bridget Jones Diary", are loved by many, and in their spare time they are watched again and again, even though they already know the content to the finer points.

American comedy "Love by the rules ... and without" - one of the best romantic samples. It tells the story of relations of elderly people. The protagonist is Harry (Jack Nicholson) - a bachelor, who is over sixty, but he actively flirts with young women. But one day, during another romantic holiday with a young girl, Marin, suddenly he is overtaken by a heart attack. Doctors did not become Harry to be hospitalized and left with Marin, where Erika (Diane Keaton), her mother, comes. Erica is a very pretty lady, a playwright by profession. She had to take care of Harry. During the conversation it was found out that for love and affection age is not a hindrance. For the first time, Harry develops relationships with the woman; Something else besides sex.

But as soon as he regains his former state of health, old habits return, and he leaves Erica. The young doctor who treated Harry, fell in love with Eric and actively cares for her. But she can not forget the scoundrel Harry, even wrote a successful play on the relationship with him. It seems that Harry can not forget his most brilliant novel ...

The heroine of the romantic American comedy "My One", Anne Devereaux (Renee Zellweger), left her husband-musician, head of the orchestra. She left because she could not forgive him for treason. She left, taking two sons, although she was not very interested in them before this event. The first thing that this unadapted lady did was to send her youngest son to buy a very expensive and unpractical car. On it, she went to seek a wealthy husband, designed to create for her and children a happy life. A long journey and a new experience change the attitude of Anne Devereaux to marriage, to sons and to life in general.

The best romantic comedies are often shown by TV channels during the holidays, especially the long winter weekend. The British comedy "Diary of Bridget Jones" is one of them. The heroine of the film Bridget (Renee Zellweger) decides, finally, to start a new life and puts before herself a few pressing tasks. First, to lose weight, secondly, to quit smoking, thirdly, to establish a personal life and not pay attention to the young handsome boss. To fix the results of the process, she starts a diary. She can manage to lose weight with varying success, she also throws smoking, somehow very gradually. But with a personal life like everything is not so bad. However, with my mother's candidate, the son of her friend Mark Darcy (Colin Firth), nothing happened, but Bridget is courted by her boss, Daniel Cleaver (Hugh Grant).

Romantic films are often screen versions of romantic literary works. As in the classic female novel of Jane Austen "Pride and Prejudice", the storyline of which formed the basis of this comedy, the heroine understands who is who. Cleaver Cleaver is punished, and the real hero, Mark Darcy, receives all the well-deserved awards, including the hand and heart of the beautiful, thin, Bridget Jones.
