Peter, being without money and any documents confirming his identity, decides at whatever cost to have time for the birth of his wife and rashly agrees to go with the intolerable Ethan and his dog across America in a car.

Such a story should have been embodied on the screen by the actors involved in the project. "Whirl" was created by a whole creative group of like-minded people, and Todd Phillips acted not only in the hypostasis of the director, but also the co-producer.
