Pumpkin is the most nutritious and healthy product among vegetables. In cooking, it is used to make vegetable stews, soups, compotes, bake in the oven and cook as a garnish.

Pumpkin is just a storehouse of useful substances and minerals. In folk medicine it is used to improve one's health and cleanse your body. To do this, it is recommended to use as often as possible a vitamin dish, like porridge with pumpkin. Recipe for cooking is very simple and does not require large financial costs. Thanks to this you can pamper your family with a delicious and very useful gruel.

Such porridge is suitable for dietary and baby food. For its preparation, we need: half a glass of oatmeal, a glass of water, 50 grams of pulp pulp, two tablespoons of almonds, a pinch of cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, two tea granulated sugar.

  • Pumpkin flesh cut into cubes, cook or bake and with the help of a blender we turn it into puree.
  • Lightly roast the almonds, let it cool down a bit and grind it well.
  • Pour the saucepan with water on the fire, bring it to a boil, salt and pour oat flakes and cook for about two minutes.
  • In pumpkin puree add sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and mix.
  • We connect the porridge with the pumpkin mixture, put it on the fire and cook for a few more minutes, stirring all the time.
  • Spread the porridge in a bowl and sprinkle it with ground almonds.

Rice porridge with pumpkin. Recipe.

Try to cook porridge porridge, the recipe of which I describe below. This porridge is perfect for breakfast, as it is sufficiently satisfying and useful.

We need: a glass of rice, half a liter of water, 200 grams of pumpkin, a glass of milk, two teaspoons of sugar, butter and a pinch of salt.

  • We clean and rinse the rice, fall asleep in a pot of water, salt and put it on the fire. After the rice boils, reduce the fire and cook it until it is ready.
  • Pumpkin rubbed on a large grater or simply cut into small cubes.
  • In a small saucepan pour the milk and put it on the fire. As soon as it boils, lay out the pumpkin, add sugar, salt to taste and cook on low heat for 10-15 minutes without forgetting to stir.
  • Using crush, crush the boiled pumpkin, combine with boiled rice and gently mix.
  • We spread the porridge on plates and add a piece of butter. If desired, you can add steamed raisins.

Millet porridge with pumpkin - lean kitchen.

We need: one pumpkin, 250 grams of millet, two glasses of almond milk, a tablespoon of sugar, a tablespoon of vegetable oil.

Preparation:

  • Pumpkin, cut the crust, cleanse the seeds and cut into medium cubes. Then put it in a saucepan, fill it with water and cook until it is soft. We put it back in a colander, so that the glass is superfluous.
  • While the water is draining from the pumpkin, take the pot, pour the milk and bring it to a boil, salt to taste, add the peeled and washed millet and cook until ready.
  • Ready porridge spread on plates and pour from above with any vegetable oil. Millet porridge served with pieces of pumpkin.

Porridge can also be cooked on water (1.5 liters), when the water is fully boiled, add two cups of almond milk and three tablespoons of sugar.
