Apparatus for vacuum massage. Description

The apparatus for vacuum massage includes an air compressor and a double acting pump. At the heart of the device is the principle of alternation of increase and decrease in pressure. The movement of the piston in one direction contributes to suction, and in the other - to the pumping of air.

The apparatus of vacuum massage includes one or several "flasks" (applicators). They can differ in the diameter (from one to fifteen centimeters) and in configuration. Each flask is designed for use in different parts of the body. Using the hose, the applicator is connected to the device. The procedure is accompanied by a significant or slight reddening of the skin, caused by the influx of blood to this site.

Apparatus for vacuum massage is used to improve blood circulation (peripheral) and tissue trophism. The procedures favorably affect the blood flow and the state of muscle tone. Apparatus for vacuum-roller massage is used to increase the strength of the calf muscles and to eliminate transient pain in the legs. After procedures in people with high blood pressure, it decreases. Specialists note the high therapeutic effectiveness of such a massage in the treatment of lymphovenous insufficiency and pathologies of peripheral nerves and muscles.

Today, a lot of instruments are produced, which allow carrying out various procedures. Each apparatus for vacuum massage has its own peculiarities, working with one principle. For example, the device "Pari" allows to achieve both stable and unstable hyperemia (reddening) of the massaged area. This is achieved by sliding the applicator over the surface of the body. Apparatus for vacuum massage "Paris" includes two independent from each other compressors and a gauge (a vacuum gauge). With the help of the last device, the change in vacuum is controlled. Vacuum control during the process is automatic.

The duration of the massage is about fifteen to twenty-five minutes.

Before the procedure, you should remove the hair covering, for example, on the lower limbs. Massaged part of the body is smeared with petrolatum oil. Thus, the applicator slides better over the skin.

Movements are made along the vessels (blood and lymphatic) longitudinally, spirally, zigzagally, transversely, to increase the outflow of blood and lymph.

During the procedure, the applicator should move smoothly, without pressure and jerks. Exposure should not be accompanied by painful sensations, otherwise it is necessary to reduce dosage. After completing the procedure, the vacuum should be reduced to the initial value.

The use of the device is contraindicated in skin infections, thrombophlebitis, lymphostasis, cardiovascular insufficiency of 2 and 3 degrees, hematomas, acute trauma of the musculoskeletal system.
