Cooking surface - consider options

For a long time already built in technology has gained popularity around the world. And one of the most comfortable built-in fences is the hob. So for those who do not use an oven at home, this option will do just fine.

There are a large number of types of cooking surfaces: gas, induction, ceramic, electric, several mixed types, so that everyone can choose for themselves suitable. More panels differ in the type of material, from which they are made - it can be ceramics, enamel, stainless steel. Enamel is rather short-lived, and it is difficult to clean, "stainless steel" is quite easy to scratch, but it is strong. For those who do not want to spend time and effort on cleaning the slab, it is best to choose a ceramic panel. Contrary to popular belief, breaking it is not so easy, although, of course, pinpoints can be fatal for her.

The cooking surface (electric or gas) differs little from the usual cooker in appearance - except that it is flat. The same burners, next to the handle. Gas panels are very convenient, food is prepared very quickly, and gas consumption is quite economical. Electrics consume more energy, the temperature of the burners is somewhat lower, and electricity bills can scare anyone, but they can be used even in houses where gas mains are not connected.

The induction hob features an attractive appearance, an absolutely flat surface and sufficient power. The hot plates get warmed up fairly quickly, so cooking does not last long. Care for these panels should be done with the help of special tools, but nothing complicated in this. The cooking surface of the induction type looks very stylish, there are a lot of different design solutions on the market that are suitable for any kitchen.

Some induction panels in place of the burners have small grooves - this provides a better heating of the dishes. By the way, in order to use such a cooking surface, it is better to buy pots and pans with thick walls.

When choosing and buying a hob of any type, several factors need to be considered: how close to the working surface are the handles - in many models they get very hot, so it's better not to be lazy and read the owners' feedback. The functionality of the various panels is also significantly different - this is also worth paying attention to. One cooking surface boasts functions such as child protection, overflow protection, one-button switching to keep all active burners active, etc., while the other does not. Most often, their properties can be seen in the description of the panel itself, so you should choose carefully - why overpay for what you do not have to use? Conversely, families with young children should spend better on a quality plate - for their own peace of mind.

Although the cooking surfaces have not yet supplanted the usual plates from the market completely, with the next repair of the kitchen you can think about, and does an oven need it and is it not easier to replace the plate with a stylish panel?
