Pestovskoe reservoir is one of the artificial reservoirs in the Moscow canal system. You can get to the reservoir both along the Dmitrovsky and Yaroslavskoye highways, but on both these highways it is separated by a rather considerable distance, which must be overcome along the rural and secondary roads. The distance from the Moscow ring road to the Pestovo reservoir is about fifty kilometers. Departure directly to the coastline in many parts of the coast is problematic. But on the northern shore of the reservoir you can find many convenient places for parking in the forest.
