Pangasius is called the predatory bottom fish, the objects of hunting are mollusks, crustaceans, small (and sometimes rather large) fish. The length of this fish is 1.3 m, and the weight can reach 44 kg, although the average individual, suitable for commercial use, usually weighs 1-1.5 kg. In the modern market, you can find two types of pangasius: Pangasius Bokorta and Siamese pangasius (although the genus of pangasius includes about thirty varieties).

Pangasius is included in the category of fatty fish, but its calorific value is 89 kcal per 100 grams. This makes it possible to say with confidence that pangasius is a dietary product.
