Organization of work: types of working time, the regime of the day and much more

The labor legislation regulates the relations that arise between the head of the company and the employee. Here it is clearly indicated what kinds of working time there are, how the rationing of labor and other aspects are carried out. What does the legislation of the Russian Federation say about this? Under working time, it is customary to understand such a period during which an employee is obliged to carry out his activities as determined by an employment contract and other normative documents.

Since in the normalization it is necessary to take into account various factors (conditions, age of the employee and others), the law distinguishes such types of working time as:

- normal duration (forty hours and no more). It can be applied if the employee arrives in normal conditions, and does not belong to the category of persons for whom special measures of protection of labor activity are necessary;

- reduced working hours. This type is used for strictly defined categories of workers (adolescents, students, employees of harmful industries, specialists whose activities involve emotional, mental stress, etc.). The length of the working day in this case is less than normal, but the wages remain unchanged;

- part time work. Can be applied by agreement of both parties (the employer and the employee), while the amount of payment is proportional to the result.

After considering such an important aspect as the types of working time, it is advisable to say a few words about rest, the duration of the period of labor activity during the day, and also the types of its recording.

The length of the period of labor activity during the day may vary due to the norm of working hours, the type of work week and other factors. If the enterprise has a shift schedule, then all activities are regulated by a special document. It is important to take into account that in such a variant of the organization of labor, any person should be given rest, the duration of which can not be less than 42 hours. The very mode of the working day is the beginning and the end of the work activity, breaks during the shift, the schedule of shifts and other elements.

Below are the main types of recreation :

- Breaks during the working shift (day);

- rest between shifts (everyday);

- continuous rest (weekends);

- holiday non-working days;

- as well as annual leave.

Next, we should say a few words about what kinds of work time records exist. Allocate:

- The day-to-day; Most often this type is called one-shift operation mode. Any work activity carried out beyond a certain norm is considered overtime work.

- Weekly;

- Summarized. This type of accounting is based on long periods (from month to year).

It is also worth mentioning that types of working time, its accounting system and other important elements of the organization of work are regulated not only by external regulations (code, legislative acts, resolutions, etc.), but also by internal documents of the enterprise.
