Milk For Russia: From Poland With Love

At the end of 2007, a tense situation arose between Russia and Poland over the import of Polish milk and dairy products to Russia. In government circles, the issue of banning the import of relevant foreign goods into Russia and the rejection of imported products was actively discussed.
In this regard, comments were given by the relevant authorities of both sides. From the announcements and interviews given to the various media by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Poland Jan Krzysztof Ardanovsky, it followed that Russia, in all likelihood, would refuse milk and dairy products from Poland, starting January 1, 2008. This became clear from a letter sent from Moscow to Warsaw in late 2007. The Russian side did not comment on these statements.
This fact was followed by Krzysztof's comments, which claimed that the letter from Moscow is nothing but an attempt to scare Poland. The Deputy Minister simply replied that milk was not enough everywhere, and not only in Russia, and that Moscow's refusal of their dairy products and milk in general would not affect the country's economy in any way. Deficiency of milk has been recorded by most countries, and it is not difficult to find new importers for Polish dairy products. Krzysztof added that the government's ban on the importation of Polish milk into Russia could negatively affect the economy of the importing country, because in most Russian cities prices for consumer goods have risen sharply, and the cost of Polish milk has remained the same. Accordingly, the refusal to import milk and dairy products from Poland could damage the profitability of Russian agricultural projects.
At the end, Polish Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Jan Krzysztof, announced that Poland does not pursue secret purposes in its relations with Russia and is committed to open negotiations, cooperation and mutual understanding.
Moscow did not react to the statements of Deputy Minister Krzysztof.
The general state of production of milk and dairy products, not only in Poland, but also in all countries of Eastern Europe, today remains relatively stable. Also, the question of the seasonal nature of milk production in these countries remains relevant. As a rule, and as international consumers are used to, the production and export of milk, the processing of milk into dairy products and their further export from Eastern Europe is reduced by winter. The reason is unfavorable weather conditions and, accordingly, special, artificial methods for caring for cattle, which naturally affects milk productivity of animals.
The amount of milk produced in Poland and throughout Eastern Europe is recovering closer to spring and, as a rule, several weeks later than the same production in Western European countries. Since April, farmers are preparing for changing weather conditions, changing methods of caring for cattle; Companies and processors are preparing their equipment for high loads. Compared with the past 5 - 6 years, recently the quantitative norm of milk received from livestock in Poland and the Baltic States has increased significantly, which is also reflected in the export of milk and dairy products from these countries. Requests from consumers and importing countries go to milk producers and processors in Poland from the beginning of April, even when the amount of milk produced is not clear and, accordingly, the export-import agreements can not be signed.
Today, the production of milk and its further processing into dairy products are carried out by different companies in Poland. The products of one firm are intended for domestic consumption, while dairy products that are more suitable for international standards, as well as unprocessed milk, are exported from the country. Companies that deal with milk processing use the appropriate equipment: milk and milk products dispensing machines, milk coolers, equipment for intermediate processing of milk and milk products, milk meters, which are designed to measure the volume of milk, is a necessary technique if the factory is engaged in the production of milk And at the same time its processing.
One of the Polish pioneers involved in the production of milk and direct processing into dairy products is LaktoPol International, whose financial issues are decided by Polindus. And in May this year it became clear that the redistribution and routing of the company's production goods will be handled by the American firm JLS International, which specializes in healthy food and natural ingredients, food additives for the kitchen.
At the end of 2008, LaktoPol expanded its production facilities, and as a result, a daughter factory was opened in the town of Suwalki, Podlaskie Voivodeship, which processes liquid milk into milk powder. Already in the first months of 2009, the Suwalki plant used a three-stage liquid milk processing system, which, according to company representatives, makes it possible to obtain products and ingredients that meet international standards.
In addition to liquid milk from cattle and dry milk powder, the Polish company also produces dairy products and ingredients for their further use in food production. The list of products offered by the company includes dry milk for various purposes - for use in the production of ice cream, yogurt and confectionery, skimmed milk powder, liquid milk, supporting different fat content standards, milk powder with a fat content of 65% or 85%, intended for use in Cheese production, separately synthesized milk elements, which are widely used in the food industry.
Milk and processed dairy products of the Polish company LaktoPol International are exported to European countries such as Germany, Estonia, Spain, France, Holland, Ukraine, etc., to the countries of the American mainland - the USA, Brazil, Dominican Republic, Peru, etc. ., To the countries of Africa and Asia, also to Australia.
Another company that produces milk and dairy products in Poland is ICC Paslek Limited. The abbreviation ICC stands for International Cheese Company, which, respectively, shows the main direction of the company's activities in the food industry.
The company's production facilities are located on the border of the Zulawi region, in the province of Varmia - Mazury. The largest shareholder in this producer of milk and dairy products is the European company Bongrain Europe SAS, France, which is one of the largest distributors in the field of the delivery and import of milk and dairy products to European countries. Also, the French company specializes in the analysis and implementation of financial means in the dairy industry of prospective companies in Eastern Europe, thanks to which a sum of 2 million euros was invested in the Ukrainian organization Zvenigorodsky Cheese Factory, which produces cheese, in the middle of 2009.
The Polish company ICC Paslek is engaged in the production of different types of cheese. In the list of products offered by the manufacturer there are rennet cheeses, to which belong different types of Dutch and Swiss cheeses, pasteurized cheeses , as well as various types of butter and dry milk powders intended for use in the production of mass food products. In 2000, the Polish company received the ISO 9002 certificate, which certifies the compliance of all production technologies and products received with international standards. The achievement of the company on an international scale can also be considered obtaining a certificate from the organization Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance, which, like the previous firm, monitors the quality of the product and assesses the risks that may arise when investing investors. ICC Paslek is the fifth company in Poland that has passed the LRQA certification.
Export of milk and dairy products from Poland to Russia is done through medium and small trading houses operating both in the producing country and in the importing country. As a rule, these organizations are engaged in the purchase of various types of goods from producers, natural milk or processed products in Poland, and their sale at more favorable prices, in this case - abroad, to Russia. It is accepted that such trading companies are engaged in the preparation of relevant documentation for exports - imports of goods, and also transport their products to previously pre-arranged warehouses, stores, etc. These communities also export Polish milk and dairy products to Russia.
Although trading houses and enterprises play an important and in some cases a key role when it comes to transporting a large quantity of goods from one country to another, regardless of what kind of products are to be moved, and also when it is necessary to have and fill Legal documentation in the customs departments of the countries of export-import, the new entrepreneur will not be easy, and the execution of documents will take a long time. On the other hand, trade organizations can not do anything if the legislation of one or another country prohibits the importation of products of their own production into their territory, regardless of which trade organization is engaged in its transportation and legalization in customs offices. Such prohibitions apply to many countries whose standards are not suitable for the production of these factories.
Russia also has a similar list for Polish producers and a list for producers of milk and plants that are engaged in its subsequent processing. The products of these Polish companies can not be imported into Russia, at least legally, as such products or items are sent back directly to the border. On the other hand, in April 2011 a new list of dairy products and various milk classes of Polish origin permitted in Russia was adopted, in which the names of new enterprises and organizations for the production of milk and dairy products, previously not included in the list of authorized Polish producers on Territory of Russia.
One of the trading enterprises that exports milk and dairy products of various Polish producers to Russia is TAS LLC (limited liability company), whose main office is located in Gdańsk, Pomorskie Voivodship, in Poland. The company was established in 2011 and in the first months of its existence only four employees worked there. One of them was John Pepek, who was appointed responsible for negotiations with customers and signing export contracts. She still holds this position. The trading company was registered in the unified state register of legal entities of Poland and registered the brand of TAS LLC with the serial number of the taxpayer - KRS 0000367586, TIN: 588-23-63-491.
Trade organization LLC TAS provides the opportunity to import milk and various types of dairy products from Polish producers. The company exports goods in all directions, but it specializes in fusing Poland-Russia. The organization has all the necessary legal documents on exports - imports in this direction. Also, it has its own network for the delivery of the ordered goods to the destination. On the other hand, the company gives customers the freedom to choose the method of delivery of goods, if the latter want to take the transportation of products on themselves.
The list of milk and milk products offered by the company includes liquid milk, skimmed milk powder, 25 kg bags, whole milk powder, dry cream, dried sweet whey, dry acid whey, cow butter, cheese.
