Mackerel - a very tasty fish, which can be used for cooking a variety of dishes. One of the best ways to prepare food, including fish, is to recognize baking in foil, since with this method of cooking, the useful properties of the products are retained as much as possible.

Let's try to cook the dish "Mackerel baked in foil". First, we will consider the simplest recipe, which the novice cook will cope with. And the result of the effort will necessarily exceed expectations.

We need the following set of products: mackerel (the amount of fish depends on the number of eaters), sea salt, black pepper (better freshly ground) and nutmeg.

The mackerel must be gutted and rinsed well. The head can be removed, or you can bake the whole fish . Sprinkle the fish from the inside and outside with sea salt, nutmeg, pepper. Cut out squares of the size of foil so that the mackerel can be wrapped entirely (if the foil is thin, then it is better to fold it twice). We lay fish on the foil sheet, wrap it in a dense envelope and bake it for forty minutes at a temperature of one hundred and eighty degrees.

As you can see, this recipe for baked mackerel is extremely simple, it is necessary to serve such a fish on a table with vegetable salad or boiled potatoes.

Of course, the basic recipe can be modified and supplemented using your favorite spices, onions, garlic, spicy herbs.

And now let's try another way of cooking fish. To cook a dish of "Mackerel baked in foil with vegetables," we need, in addition to the mackerel itself, still onions and tomatoes.

We remove the mackerel, gutted through a cut on the abdomen and cut into five equal pieces across the carcass. Sprinkle pieces of seasonings and salt and spread them on a sheet of foil so that they look like a whole fish. Now take the onions and tomatoes and cut them with rings. Greens basil and parsley crushed and sprinkled with vegetables. We take a circle of tomato and a bowl, add them together and insert our vegetable "sandwich" between pieces of mackerel.

We wrap the fish tightly in foil and send it to the oven for forty minutes, putting the thermostat at around 180 degrees. When serving mackerel baked in foil, it is decorated with lemon and greens.

But how can you make mackerel with mushrooms. Mine and gut the fish, cutting it along the abdomen. Then carefully remove the spine and large costal bones, trying to keep the skin on the back undamaged. As a result of this operation, we will get a layer of fish fillets, deployed as a book. We pour the prepared fish with lemon juice, sprinkle with seasonings and leave for a while, so that the fillet is marinated. In the meantime, fry in onion onion and finely chopped mushrooms (for one mackerel we need about three mushrooms), salt the mushroom filling and fill it with a small amount of sour cream or mayonnaise. Now we stuff our fish, giving it the appearance of a whole carcass. That is, we spread the mushroom filling on one half of the fillet and cover it with the other half. Prepared fish wrapped in foil and bake in the oven, as indicated in previous recipes. Such mackerel, baked in foil with mushrooms, is perfect for family holidays.

Well, if you want to cook something exquisite and with elements of exotic, then you will need the following recipe - mackerel baked in foil with oranges.

For one fish, we need one orange, a little mayonnaise and seasoning. We will gut the mackerel and remove the head. Then across the carcass we make deep incisions at an equal distance to the vertebral bone. Part of the peeled orange is cut into semi-rings (there must be as many pieces of this as cuts on the fish), and the remaining orange pulp is ground in a blender.

Season the fish with salt and pepper, then with a tea spoon we put a crushed orange pulp into the incision, and the orange segments left from above. Lubricate slightly the fish with mayonnaise, wrap it in foil and bake in the oven. To lighten the fish, after half an hour of baking, remove the baking sheet and slightly turn the foil from above. Put the baking sheet in the oven again, making sure that the fish is not burnt. We serve fish on the table directly in foil, decorating with twigs of greenery and sliced olives.
