AC / DC - the only group from Australia, has achieved such a tremendous popularity in this direction. And although the team is at the root of the foundations of heavy metal and hard rock, the musicians themselves classify their genre as rhythm and blues, distorted by hard rhythm and solo guitars. Russian rock was born a little later. It exists a little more than forty years and appeared on the expanses of the Soviet Union as a protest movement. And, of course, we have our own rock legends, which are not much inferior to foreign ones. Modern groups in our country try to be more like foreign analogues, but meanwhile the rock of the end of the last century was incredibly original.

To preserve this cultural heritage, music collections on cassettes and discs were released, as well as a series of books with rare photographs and stories, which was called "The Legends of Russian Rock".

Representatives of the full-fledged rock movement, which took shape in the 1980s, are groups whose songs have grown several generations of our fellow citizens:

Informal performers in the late 80s of the last century were subjected to pressure, persecution and blame for their views and the semantic content of the texts, but managed to create delightful music.
