And only in this case they can have disagreements among themselves. After all, how many people there are, there are so many musical preferences and tastes. Some people prefer to listen to pop music, rap, rock or chanson, or some other musical direction. Others, on the contrary, do not tolerate modern musical trends and like to listen only to classical music or folk songs.

Classical music is a kind of greetings from the past, these are works of great, well-known composers. It can be called world masterpieces with confidence. Even a schoolboy can distinguish classical music from "pop music". Almost all people on the planet know such composers as Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Schubert, Tchaikovsky and others. And the names of these famous talented people even today are on our ears.

Another musical trend is the direction of pop music. Today it occupies a leading place among the rest. Pop music is heard by almost everyone, it is for a wide range of people. The direction differs with its melodiousness and simplicity, as well as with the dance sound. Such music is charged with positive emotions. It can be heard on the radio, in stores, on television, in general, anywhere. In addition, pop music is very popular at discotheques.

The direction of hip-hop has such branches as rap and r`n`b. This direction was formed by African-Americans and has distinct rhythms, basically it is a reading of rhymed texts to music. Hip-hop is the music of the streets, it is often intertwined with the subculture of break dance and graffiti.

Rock music is for protesters, rebel people who love freedom, who do not have stereotypes. Basically, the rock band is a group of musicians led by a soloist. Often, rock concerts are accompanied by cries and the roar of the audience, the husky voice of the vocalist. In this direction the emphasis is on musical instruments, on the noisy sound of guitar and percussion.
