Vertical tubes are collected by cutting a piece from each bottle a certain distance from the neck, and inserting them tightly into each other. Oddly enough, such systems work, judging by the feedback of their hosts, very good and serve for a long time. However, they do not look very beautiful, of course.

Operation of the drainage system

Any such design, of course, needs some care. At least a couple of times a year the trough should be cleaned of accumulated silt and dirt. In the event that trees grow on the site, it should be done. Otherwise, the system will be clogged by fallen leaves. To get rid of this procedure, you can buy special brush filters for the gutter. They fit along the whole ramp. Water passes through the long bristles freely, but the garbage - especially the large one - does not enter the gutter.
