For the Khachapuri test in Imeretian it will be required:

  • 1 kg of flour;
  • 2 eggs;

  • 1 tbsp. A spoon of sand;
  • Sunflower oil;
  • Margarine;
  • 1 tbsp. Spoon of salt.

  • 1.5 - 2 cups of flour;

  • 250 grams of cottage cheese;
  • Butter;

  • 1 table. A spoonful of vinegar;
  • 1 table. Spoon of sour cream.

For the filling take 200 grams of hard cheese and mix it with greens, eggs and crushed garlic.

Method of cooking khachapuri:

Khachapuri recipe can be varied at your discretion, but do not break the order of cooking. We sift two glasses of flour, the third glass is needed for pouring. In the flour add soda and mix thoroughly. In kefir we add salt, sugar and sunflower oil. To the kefir mass, add the flour and again all the most carefully mix. Gradually adding the remaining flour, knead the soft elastic dough. Do not make the dough too tight, otherwise khachapuri will not taste good. The dough is covered with a napkin and we give it a little to stand, during this time we will have time to make the filling. Cheese and garlic rubbed on a coarse grater, we add cut sliced greens, raw egg, mix everything thoroughly.

From the test, make sausage and divide it into several parts. Soft dough can stick to your hands, so before cutting, the pieces are rolled in flour and we form balls. You can cover the frying pan with a lid, then the khachapuri will be better roasted. Remove khachapuri from a frying pan and grease with plenty of butter.
