"Cedar island" invites lovers of beauty of Mountainous Altai

Where is, how to get there

The nearest settlement is the village "Ust-Sema" on the Chemal tract. It's four hundred and ninety kilometers to Novosibirsk from here. Own car you need to get to the city of Biysk. Then go along the road through the village of Srostki, Maima and Ust-Sema. And already from there, on the Chemal route to the tourist village about two kilometers. The administration of the complex takes guests around the clock. Settlement, as in most hotels - from noon. And you need to leave before eleven in the morning. With domestic pets, "Cedar Island" (recreation center) can settle only in low season, if you agree on this with the leadership of the tourist village. But if a lot of people, you will be refused. And dinner with dinner will cost the guests a maximum of one and a half thousand rubles a day per person. For tourist groups there is a special canopy so that they can organize a camp kitchen. The air here treats respiratory diseases, including tuberculosis, so here in Soviet times many sanatoriums were built. On the Katun River is the island of Patmos, where there is a functioning nunnery and a small town. You can go there by the suspension bridge. The island is rocky, with stunning views.
