Childhood and youth

Children and youth were held in Rostov-on-Don, where the family moved after some time after his birth. It was in this city that his first steps in life were made. There Evgeny went to study in school, there for the first time visited the circus, which later became his life's work. Acquaintance with the circus took place on the initiative of Yevgeny Timofeevich's mother, who was a housekeeper in one of the orphanages in Rostov-on-Don. She often took her son with her when she attended mass events with children's children. The boy was delighted with the sparkling and iridescent circus performance. It was then that he had a dream to become a circus artist.

Singer or circus artist ...

Evgeny is the eldest child in the family. He had two younger brothers and a sister. Father, being the soloist of the railway workers' choir, always dreamed that his eldest son will become a singer, will achieve great success in this field. Therefore, since his early years, Zhenya went with the pope to sing vocals, and gradually the teachers realized that the boy really has the ability. Zhenya became the choir's soloist, all prophesied to him the successful career of the singer. But one day he caught a bad cold and lost his voice. A month later the vocal cords were restored, but not enough to sing again in full force. So, by the will of fate Evgeni Milayev lost the opportunity to build a career as a vocalist. He was not very upset about this, because it was rather the desire of the father, not his own. Zhenya still dreamed of circus.

First performances

In his youth, he began to devote a lot of time to sports. Since 1928, Milyaev attended a sports and circus studio in the Palace of Culture of Railway Workers, in which he later worked in the "Acrobatic Etude". When the young man and his father began to work at the shoe factory, he became the star of the acrobatic section of the Tanner's Club. He had his own group of three acrobats, with which they by the standards of that time carried out the most difficult tricks. And Evgeny Timofeevich, having a very strong physique, always stood in the bottom row, providing for the rest of the support.

Together with his partners, Yevgeny Milayev participates in the 1926 review of the best rooms that were created in working clubs. Not particularly hoping for success, the beginning artists were extremely surprised when they received excellent marks from the jury. They even offered to perform in a circus program, but three friends, believing that they have not enough experience, refused.

Separating in different teams, the partners for a while stopped working together. Therefore, the debut of Milayev in the circus arena took place as part of a duet with Peter Mazanov. This happened in 1929. The artists performed the number on the rings. Already married, Evgeny Timofeevich "infected" his young wife, who before that worked as a seamstress, with love for the circus. For a young slender Natalia in the circus, too, there was work.

Success

After some time (about a year), Milaev again meets his former partners Minasova and Ozerova, with whom they later created the acrobatic team "4-JAC". The rooms they showed were very bright, so the band became popular. However, it lasted not too long, namely 4 years. Abused with each other, none of the partners did not want to give in, and the team broke up. With the departure of old friends, Eugene did not stop speaking. He recruited new partners, who worked together for five more years.

The next stage in the formation of Milyaev as an artist was the creation of tricks with Pershons, which were shown in the composition of a new collective since 1935 in many circuses. His wife also participated in his rooms.

Tragedy

Throughout the war, Yevgeny Timofeevich Milayev with his group traveled around the country, raising the spirit of the soldiers in the rare moments of calm on the battlefield. When the war was over, the Milaevs decided to abandon the nomadic life and settle in Moscow. They really wanted children, and when in 1947 they found out that Natalia was pregnant, and even more twins, they were very happy. But the birth was a tragedy. Milayev's wife, having given birth to a boy and a girl, could not survive. She died the next day after giving birth due to blood poisoning.

A grief-stricken widower gives his newborn son and daughter to his parents in Rostov-on-Don. He called the boy Alexander, and a girl in honor of his deceased wife Natalia. To forget himself, Yevgeny Milayev worked day and night. At that time he performed in a circus on Tsvetnoy Boulevard with the already well-known number "Equilibrist on Persh." For a short period of time, together with a group of five people, he prepared a new issue, "Equilibrists on the Stairs," which had a stunning success for the audience. Meeting with Galina Brezhneva

At the time of the meeting with Milayev, the daughter of Leonid Brezhnev was 22 years old, and Eugene himself was already 41. Having once come to the circus show with his daughter, a powerful father could not imagine what exactly Galya would meet with the only true love of her life. Galina at that time studied in Chisinau as a philologist, but most of the time she devoted not to studies, but to numerous parties with friends. Having received an invitation from his father to go to the circus, she agreed. Milayev that day not only participated in his crown numbers, but also performed with the clown's program. During another joke, he blew a cracker right under his ear at Galina, who was sitting on the first row. She screamed out loud than attracted the attention of the whole hall. But she no longer worried: Galya at first glance attracted an attractive and athletic artist. Eugene also liked a beautiful and smartly dressed girl. Further their relations developed at lightning speed. They quickly married, and in 1952 they had a daughter, who was named after her grandmother, Victoria.

Family life

Joy's joy was unlimited, when Galya, with her difficult character for more than 10 years, became an ideal wife, a busy mistress and a caring mother for three children. Yes, it's three, because Evgeny Timofeevich took away from his parents children from his first marriage, who began to live together with his new family. As Alexander and Natalia themselves admit, Galina Brezhneva has become for them a wonderful mother, whom they still remember with warmth in her soul. Galina even started to travel with her husband on tour. In the circus she was accepted as a dresser, and, I must say, she honestly performed all her duties, despite the presence of a powerful pope.

But happiness was not destined to last too long. Milayev Eugene Timofeevich was a man prominent, and even a creative profession always had a flirt. He often flirted with young actresses, and Galina, like any woman, it was very unpleasant. And then one day, seeing how her husband flirts with another young lady, she fell through. There was no drop from humility. Once again, Galina Brezhnev returned, who was before meeting with Milyaev: frantic, rebellious. She made a terrible scandal. However, confident Milaev did not hurry to fall on his knees and ask for forgiveness. This broke the fragile barrier that kept in check the crazy nature of Galina. She filed for divorce and drove away to the resort with a new lover, the beginning illusionist Igor Kio. MILAYEV was in shock, he certainly did not expect such a turn of events. With the help of his father-in-law, the fugitives were found, Evgeniy even forgave his unfaithful wife, but the previous Galina was already not returned. After parting with Galina Brezhneva, Milaev no longer married.

Career

It should be noted that after the marriage to Galina Brezhneva, Yevgeny Milayev (see photo in the article), became less likely to perform in the arena, more often strove for leading positions. So, in 1977, not to please many members of the management of Soyuzhsotsirka, he became the director of the Great Moscow Circus on Vernadsky Avenue. However, no matter who thought, it was the former son-in-law of Brezhnev himself, who no one dared to contradict.

December 20, 1979 Milayev was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor. The next step in his career was to be the appointment to the post of director of the Soyuzhsotsirka, but this did not happen. The tragedy that happened to the former father-in-law (despite the divorce, the relationship between Brezhnev and Milayev remained very warm), did not let it happen. During the visit to the aircraft factory in Tashkent on Brezhnev fell a beam, he was seriously injured. Health was severely undermined, and soon the General Secretary died. Milayev lost a powerful patron.

Yevgeny Milayev, whose personal life is connected with the name of the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the CPSU, did not expect that his daughter, Galina Brezhneva, shared such a controversial fate. She fell in love more than once, but she did not know happiness with one of the chosen ones, choosing the wrong ones all the time. All her men, as a rule, used it, giving nothing in return. Through the fault of one of these ladies' lovers she lost an apartment on Tolstoy Street and two elite dachas in the Moscow region. Her only daughter, Galya, spent a long time in a psychiatric hospital. The reasons why the mother does not participate at all in the fate of her daughter are not clear to anyone.
