The film "The Song of Bernadette" received two more "Golden Globes" and became a breakthrough for director Henry King.

The following year, actress Jennifer Jones played one of the lead roles in the Oscar-winning drama "Ever since you left." Critics liked the film and was highly appreciated by the audience.
