But in the 90's Oleg Zvantsev (Alexei Serebryakov), connected with the underworld, quite casually meets Catherine in Moscow, helps her in a difficult situation, they are getting closer, then get married.

When Oleg is imprisoned, and Sergei Zheltsev comes to Zvantsev's group, the woman is caught between two fires. She loves Sergei, but for a long time she does not dare to "cross the line", because in a criminal environment such novels end up lamentably. Unfortunately, the love triangle of the main characters led to their death at the end of the film.

"Bandit Petersburg", whose actors are trying to tell an entertaining detective story, apparently, is not devoid of melodramatic. That's why the series was interesting to a wide audience of viewers.

Lev Borisov as Antibiotic

Actors of "Bandit Petersburg" basically play persons with unreasoned biography. That's the character of Lev Borisov - the criminal authority of the Antibiotic - there is a real prototype: a certain Vladimir Kumarin, who in the early 90s headed the Tambov organized group in St. Petersburg.

The plot around Antibiotic revolves not only in the second part of the film "Gangster Petersburg".
