You could never hear his name, but you know exactly about his works. It was he who wrote the world bestsellers "Angels and Demons" and "The Da Vinci Code", which tell the story of Robert Langdon. Both books, which are recognized as one of the best-selling novels of all time, were written by Dan Brown.
The future great writer and journalist was born in New Hampshire (USA) on the twenty-second of June 1964 in a rather colorful family of a mathematics professor (father) and a talented musician (mother). It was very difficult for him to choose his future specialty. In the end, the young man made his choice. He studied at Amherst College and Phillip Exeter Academy.
After graduation, he goes to California, where he tries himself as a musician, songwriter and performer. After recording several CDs, he returns home in 1993.
Mrs. Blis Brown (specialty fine artist) fully supports her husband in his creative impulses. They spent a lot of time together, exploring the riddles of the Louvre, which is written in the "Da Vinci Code." It was she who prompted her faithful some subtleties of the painting of Leonardo da Vinci's paintings. And a little earlier, about 10 years before the release of the "Da Vinci Code", they even wrote their joint book "187 men, from whom you should stay away." It was released in 1995. Obviously, it was then that Dan Brown could no longer abandon new books, but only under his own, authorship.
After returning home from California, Dan tries himself as an English teacher at the Phillips Exeter Academy. Together with this he writes a lot. The first novel - Digital Fortress - was written and published in 1996. In this book, the author embodied his interest in various codes and hacking of information classified by the state. It is a very, very thin line of national security and civil freedom. Among Internet users, the book broke into two accounts, and almost immediately became its first bestseller. The famous detective "Angels and Demons" was released in 2000. In it, the writer has invested all his love for riddles, art, religion and secret communities. "The Point of Deception" (2001), another of Dan Brown's books, focuses on morality in politics. Exciting adventures of Robert Langdon continued only in 2003 in the book "The Da Vinci Code" - a novel written on the verge of reality and fiction.
Is it worth talking about the deafening success with which this book spread all over the world? The first published books were sold out in a matter of days, people came not only in the final delight of reading, the novel left an incredible aftertaste, attracted the great attention of all walks of life. A week later, the book was awarded the title of the loudest New York bestseller. The book is translated into 40 languages, and the total number of printed books is 8 million!
Dan Brown not only excellently writes detective stories, he also earns a journalist for the newspaper Newsweek, People, Forbes, GQ, TIME, The New Yorker.
