Balcony: renovation starts

Mount them at a decent distance from the corners, so that they can easily be used for the covering of the cladding. On the ceiling, wooden beams should be mounted on self-tapping screws only, but also mounted on liquid nails.

When the bars are ready, we fix the insulation between them. For example, you can use expanded polystyrene. For greater reliability, it is also attached to liquid nails. Do not insulate the wall adjacent to the room, as it must let the heat out of the room, and not hold it.

So, the repair on the balcony with their own hands is in full swing. Let's clean up the already insulated floor. We lay on it plywood, the thickness of which is 22 mm. You can also use the floorboard, but this is not the most reliable option. Plywood is screwed with screws to wooden beams.

The next step is the warming of our balcony with a thick foam foam. Again, fix it to the beams, applying a few layers of penfolome on the other. The insulation of the balcony is finished.

Sheathing

Repair of the balcony with their own hands can not be imagined without wall covering. First of all, fix the beams 20x40 cm to the wooden frame with the help of screws, and on the wall, which adjoins the room, with dowels. After this, you can proceed to the wall lining. You can choose the material that you like most. A good option would be PVC panels. It is not difficult to work with him, and they are unpretentious in their care. We attach our PVC panels to the beams with an ordinary furniture stapler.
