Jam from pears with orange: recipes, methods of preparation

Many housewives love to add new ingredients to traditional dishes, thus obtaining a special taste and hue. How to cook pear jam with orange

We take the products in the following quantities:

  • Kg of pears;

  • Kilogram of sugar sand;

  • One large juicy orange.

We clear the orange and take out the seeds, then cut them into cubes. We put the processed fruit in a cooking container, fill it with sugar and leave it overnight to let the juice run. If the pear is too hard and by the morning does not give enough juice, add a glass of water to the dishes with a fruit mixture and put it on the stove. Let's boil, reduce the flame and continue cooking for about an hour or slightly more. All this time we remove the foam from the surface and stir it. When the jam from pears with orange is ready, hot it we spread it on banks. It should turn out thick, fragrant and very beautiful in appearance.

With a piquant taste

Let's try to make jam from pears with orange differently. To get an unusual taste, just add some spices and change the cooking technology a little.

In addition to the usual ingredients (0.5 kg of pears, as many oranges, 1 kg of sugar), you will need spices - vanillin (pinch) and cinnamon (teaspoon).

Wash and unpurified pears cut into small cubes. With the orange peel and cut the same way. Processed fruit and sugar are placed in a saucepan and mixed. We leave, until the pieces of fruit will not give juice. Then add spices and mix. We put on the stove and cook on low heat, until it boils. Now remove the foam, cook for another 15 minutes and remove from heat. When it cools down, put it back on the stove and cook until ready for about half an hour.

In the multivariate

Pear jam with oranges is easiest to cook in a multivark. If you have this universal pan, then you can proceed. To do this, take ½ kg of pears and oranges and a kilogram of sugar.

Oranges, we cut into mugs, but we do not remove the rind. Each circle is cut in half. We remove the pear from the pears and cut them into slices. Fold the fruit and sugar in the bowl of the multivark and turn on the "Quenching" program for an hour and a half. Ready-made jam from pears with orange has an amber tint and excellent taste

List of ingredients:

  • Kilograms of ripe solid pears;

  • Half an orange;

  • Two glasses of water;

  • A kilogram of sugar;

  • Half a pt. Salt.

When all the sugar has been introduced, cook for another 5 minutes, then spread it into the resulting syrup pears. After boiling we keep on fire for another 7 minutes, then remove from the plate, cover with a napkin or towel and leave to infuse for 8 hours. After that, the dishes with jam again put on the fire, cook for 7 minutes, remove and leave again for 8 hours. Repeat the action three times. At the last approach, add the sliced thin slices of unpeeled orange and cook for another 25 minutes. We check the readiness by dropping the syrup into a container of cold water. If the drop does not spread, but the whole has fallen to the bottom, you can turn off and remove the pear jam with oranges from the plate.

For jam it is better to choose fruits of late varieties with dense flesh. In any case, the fruit should not be overripe, without damage, with an elastic peel.
